Point wise Compliance Note:

PART A – SPECIFIC CONDITION

1. Operation Phase

The environmental clearance recommended to the project is subject to the specific condition as follows:

1. Diesel power generating sets as source of back up power for lifts and common area illumination should be of “enclosed type” and conform to rules made under Environment ( Protection) Act 1986 , Prescribed for air and noise emission standards as per CPCB guidelines . Exhausts should be discharged by stack, raised to 4 meters above the rooftop.

DG room has been provided with acoustic treatment to control noise pollution emanating from DG sets. Sound level from DG Sets is found to be conforming to rules made under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. Copy of sound level monitoring report bearing No. 5284-5285 Dated 22.03.2015 issued by NABL Accredited M/s Ultratec Research & Analytik Labs, Gurgaon has been enclosed (please refer page No. 28 and 29).

DG stack emission is being monitored periodically and reports submitted to Northern Regional Office MoEF & CC, . The exhaust stack has been raised adequately above the roof top with reference to CPCB standards. Air emission from DG Sets also conform the Emission Limits specified in Standards for Diesel Engines - Engine Rating more than 0.8 MW (800 KW), as notified by the Environment (Protection), Third Amendment Rules 2002, vide G.S.R. 489 (E), dated 9thJuly, 2002 at serial No. 96, under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. Copies of stack emission monitoring reports bearing No. 5357-5361, 5364-5366, 5275-5276 Dated 22.03.2015 issued by NABL Accredited M/s Ultratec Research & Analytik Labs, Gurgaon are been enclosed (please refer page No. 11).

2. During night time the noise levels measured at the boundary of the building shall be restricted to the permissible levels to comply with the prevalent regulations.

Noise level test is being monitored periodically and reports submitted to regional office MoEF & CC, Chandigarh. Noise level monitoring report bearing No. 5355 Dated 22.03.2015 issued by NABL Accredited M/s Ultratec Research & Analytik Labs, Gurgaon has been enclosed (please refer page No. 9). The report shows that noise level conforms to Standards for Commercial Area, as specified in Schedule of The Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.

3. The Sewage treatment plant of adequate capacity should be provided and it should be certified by an independent expert for adequacy as well as efficiency and submit a report in this regards to the ministry before the project is commissioned for operation. should be treated to tertiary level and after treatment reused for flushing of toilet and gardening .discharge of treated sewage, if any, shall conform to norms 7 standard prescribed by State Pollution Control Board.

STP of adequate capacity has been provided and being operated at site. Adequacy report prepared by independent expert organization has already been submitted to Authorities concerned. Treated wastewater is being reused as per guidelines. Test reports characterizing treated sewage, bearing No. 5356 Dated 22/03/2015 issued by NABL Accredited M/s Ultratec Research & Analytik Labs, Gurgaon has been enclosed (please refer page No. 10). The report show that the treated sewage conforms to applicable standards.

4. Rain Water harvesting and ground water recharging shall be practiced. The ground water levels & its quality should be monitored regularly in consultation with the central ground water Authority. Oil & Grease trap shall be provided to remove oil and grease from the surface run off and suspended matter shall be removed in setting tank before its utilization for rainwater harvesting.

Rainwater harvesting and recharging of rain water so harvested through Recharge structures after removal of oil & grease and suspended matter is being practiced. Reports are being submitted to Central Ground Water Board time-to-time.

5. The solid waste, generated should be properly collected & segregated. Biodegradable waste should be composted and non bio- degradable solid waste should be deposed of into municipal bins for further processing. STP sludge shall be used as manure for gardening.

Disposal of solid & waste is being carried out after segregating biodegradable & Non- bio degradable waste. STP sludge is being used as manure in greenbelts.

6. Any Hazardous waste including biomedical waste should be disposed of as per applicable rules & norms necessary approval of Haryana State Pollution Control Board.

Hazardous waste (Used oil) is being disposed off through an agency, M/s Lubri Sales (), 32, IDC, Gurgaon; duly authorized by Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) till 31st March, 2015.

7. The green belt design along the periphery of the plot shall achieve attenuation factor conforming to the day and night noise standards Prescribed for residential land use. The open spaces inside the plot should be suitably landscaped and covered with vegetation of indigenous variety.

8. Incremental pollution loads on the ambient air quality, noise and water quality should be periodically monitored after commissioning of project

Noise Level, Ambient Air, Ground water and Surface Soil is being monitored periodically by NABL Accredited M/s Ultratec Research & Analytik Labs, Gurgaon and reports submitted to regional office MoEF & CC, Chandigarh.

Ambient Noise level monitoring report bearing No. 5355 Dated 22.03.2015 issued has been enclosed (please refer page No. 9).

Ambient Air Quality Monitoring report bearing No. 5352-5354 Dated 22.03.2015 has been enclosed (please refer page No. 6).

Ground Water and Soil Quality Monitoring report bearing No. 5277-5283 22.03.2015, has been enclosed (please refer page No. 21).

9. The Ground Water shall be utilized only in consultation with central Ground Water Authority.

CGWA permission letter No 21-4 (122) /NWA/CGWA/2008 - 457 Dated 26/02/2008, already placed before authorities concerned along with previously submitted six-monthly compliance reports.

The Solar energy shall be used for water heating as well as lighting common areas and verifiable measures shall be adopted for energy conservation and water conservation.

Being implemented as per guidelines given by MoEF & CC.

10. Report on the energy conservation measures should be prepared incorporating details about building materials & technology, R & U Factors etc and submitted to the Ministry in three months time.

11. The values of R & U for the building envelope should meet the requirements of the hot & humid climatic location. Details of the building envelope should be worked out and furnished in there months time.

PART – B. GENERAL CONDITIONS

i. The environmental safeguards contained in the documents should be implemented in letter and spirit. Page 3 of 5

Noted and efforts being made to implement environmental safe guards as specified.

ii. Provision should be made for the supply of kerosene or cooking gas and pressure cooker to the laborers during construction phase.

This condition is applicable to construction phase, against which action taken report was submitted to Regional Office, MoEF & CC at Chandigarh in previous half yearly compliance reports.

iii. All the laborers to be engaged for construction works should be screened for health and adequately treated before the issue of work permits. Adequate preventive and protective measures shall be taken to protect workers, labors etc during construction and operation phase of the project.

This condition is applicable to construction phase, against which action taken report was submitted to Regional Office, MoEF & CC at Chandigarh in previous half yearly compliance reports.

iv. 6 monthly monitoring reports should be submitted to the Ministry and its Regional Office.

Being regularly complied and now this report is submitted for the period of 01- 10-2014 to 31- 03-2015.

v. Officials from the Regional office of MOEF, Chandigarh who would be monitoring the implementation of environmental safeguards should be given full cooperation, facilities and documents/ data by the project proponents during their inspection. A complete set of all the documents submitted to MOEF should be forwarded to the CCF, Regional office of MOEF, Chandigarh

A complete set of document has been already submitted to Director, Regional Office, MoEF & CC, Chandigarh. Full cooperation shall be ensured during monitoring of Authorities.

vi. In the case of any changes(s) in the scope of the project, the project would require as fresh appraisal y this Ministry.

Noted. vii. The Ministry reserves the right to add additional safeguard measures subsequently, if found necessary, and to take action including revoking of the environment clearance under the provisions of the Environment (Protection)Act, 1986, to ensure effective

implementation of the suggested safeguard measures in a time bound and satisfactory manner

Noted. viii. All other statutory clearances such as the approvals for storage of diesel from Chief Controller of Explosives, Fire Department, Civil Aviation Department, State Forests Department, Wildlife Act 1972 etc shall be obtained by project proponents from the competent authorities.

(I)Explosive license no. P/NC/HN/15/1431 (P203461) valid till 31/12/2015.

(ii) AAI NOC no. AA/NOC/2008/335 DATED 17/12/2008

ix. A copy of the environmental clearances letter would be marked to the local NGO(s) for their information.

x. This stipulation would be enforced among others under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention and control of Pollution) Act 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and the Public Liability (Insurance) Act, 1991
