SCIENTIFIC RESPONISIBILITIES

Administrative Tasks Throughout my PhD I have communicated with officials within the Myanma governmental organisation Myanma Timber Enterprise, writing reports after each trip. I have also been the lead coordinator with collaborators at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory of Chiang Mai University who analyse faecal hormones from our samples.

Fieldwork Trips to Myanmar 2016-2020 I have conducted a total of five research trips to the Sagaing region of Myanmar, for a total duration of over five months, three of which were with the research group, and two independently to the group. As well as learning and carrying out varied, specialised laboratory and field-based analyses myself, I was in charge of data collection by multiple veterinarians and research assistants, ordering equipment/consumables and shipping samples, including securing permission from CITES and other authorities.
