We are looking forward to the start of the 2021-22 school year and the opportunity to serve your student. Your student’s health and well-being are our highest priority. To ensure that we can communicate with you in case of an emergency, we are asking you to: 1) complete the annual emergency card update on the Aeries Parent Portal and 2) sign up for ParentSquare.

Annual Emergency Card Update: Please visit bit.ly/cuhsdupdate for directions on how to complete the process or you can login at https://aeries.cuhsd.org/parent to get started. Login directions are below:

Parents/guardians of returning students: If you logged in to the Aeries Parent Portal before and remember your password, please use the same email address and password. If you forgot your password, click on “Forgot Password?” to reset your password using the email address and student permanent ID listed below.

**Parents/guardians of incoming 9th-grade students: Your Aeries Parent Portal account has been created on your behalf. Click on “Forgot Password?” to set up your password using the email address and student permanent ID listed below. Please do not click on “Create New Account.” **NEW! Prepare your residency documents: All school sites will be verifying residency of all incoming 9th grade students for Fall 2021-22 school year. Your school site will send out specific information pertaining to the required documents and process to provide.

Signing up for ParentSquare: Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, CUHSD schools will be using ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. Go to http://bit.ly/cuhsdparentsquare for more information and instructions on how to sign up.

If the email address in this letter is not valid, please contact your student’s school to update it. Please keep this letter until you have updated your student’s emergency card. Due to the personal information included, we advise you to shred this letter when the process is complete.

Class schedules will be withheld if this process is not completed. Information about the date of schedule pick-up is provided in the welcome letter from your student’s school and also on the school’s website.

If you do not have access to the internet, or if you need support in Spanish, you can update your student’s annual emergency card at your student’s school. Details about when to visit your student's school for support are included in the school’s welcome letter and on the school’s website.
