INTO THE NEW SEASON WITH A NEW LOOK

New logo of RTL Television

RTL Television launches the new season with a new on-air design that focuses on reducing things to the essentials. The handwritten lettering “Mein” will be omitted from the autumn; the word will only be spoken off camera and remains in the animation in a subtle typography. The logo itself has only been slightly revised, with the letters moving closer together.

The navigation for the various programme content is clearly the main focus. The day’s branding is to be emphasized more and will offer new trailer packs more room for pictures from the format. Nevertheless, the well-known RTL look remains intact. “Our consistent red-yellow-blue colour scheme alone keeps us very close to the brand, and that will remain so,” says Ulli Schumacher, Creative Director Design at RTL Creation. In addition, there is a new “RTL stripe” in the channel colours, which is subtly recalled in all major design elements.

RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network will bring the FremantleMedia produced talent competition X Factor UK to audiences in Asia. Singapore – 24 July 2014

Verbotene Liebe has been part of ARD’s access prime-time line-up Monday to Friday since 2 January, 1995. UFA Serial Drama produces the daily soap at the Cologne-Ossett studios.

François-Xavier Ménage has joined the Capital team as the Presenter and Editor-in-chief of the M6 news programme. His first appearance will be on 20 July, 2014.

Ménage was born on 27 June, 1980, in Brittany. After completing his studies in Economics at the University of Rennes, he moved into journalism and joined Celsa (Sorbonne). While still at university, he worked at Europe 1 and then the radio station RMC, which he joined permanently after completing his studies in 2004, handling both French and international news.

François-Xavier Ménage, Presenter and Editor-in-chief of M6 news In 2008, François-Xavier Ménage joined the BFM programme Capital TV team and was appointed the role of International Reporter, focusing particularly on covering important conflicts and events all over the world. During the uprisings in the Ivory Coast, he also collaborated with CNN during live coverages for a month. Since 2008, he has also continued to present the BFM TV summer news broadcasts and in 2012 he joined the team of the in-depth news show 7 Jours BFM, reporting on ‘long-form’ stories 7 to 15 minutes in length.

For several years, François-Xavier Ménage has been a Professor of Journalism at Celsa (Sorbonne) and Sciences Po Paris.
