Wild Adventures Announces 2016 All-Star Concert Lineup

Valdosta, GA –The lineup for Wild Adventures’ 2016 All-Star Concert Series has been revealed and includes award-winning classic rock and country favorites, inspirational, urban, upbeat hip-hop, contemporary Christian and fresh new pop voices.

Fourteen concerts have been announced with one additional act still to be revealed in the coming weeks for a total of 15 concerts. The acts announced range from legendary country duo , recent Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick and young pop internet sensation Jacob Whitesides.

All concerts are included with park admission or a 2016 Season Pass. Reserved seats are available at an additional cost with an exclusive one week advance sale, for season passholders only, beginning at 9 AM on February 5, 2016. Reserved concert seats are available for purchase by all guests starting February 12.

Wild Adventures opens for the 2016 season on Saturday, March 12 and will feature Dinosaur Explore, a new attraction that transforms a large previously unused area in the park into an immersive display of over 20 prehistoric creatures. The area includes a fossil dig for kids in addition to the giant moving, roaring dinosaurs.

The concert season kicks off on April 2 with a Season Passholder Appreciation Concert featuring rock band Skid Row. Reserved seats for that concert are available for free only to Season Passholders on a first-come-first-serve basis the day of the concert.

2016 Season Passes are currently available at savings up to $15 off. Guests can get their Season Passes and concert reserved seats online at WildAdventures.com, by calling 229-219-7080 or at the park.

ARTIST INFORMATION Skid Row: Formed in 1986, Skid Row was started by bassist and former Bon Jovi guitarist Dave “The Snake” Sabo. Over the years, the group has added guitarist and drummer Rob Hammersmith. The band’s first two went Platinum and they have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Their original , “I Remember You” and “” remain some of their most popular.

Montgomery Gentry: From “Hillbilly Shoes” to “Headlights,” Montgomery Gentry has become one of the most identifiable duos in the history of . They have earned Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, sold several million albums and been honored with membership into the Grand Ole Opry.

Jacob Whitesides: Jacob Whitesides is a young pop artist with an astounding social media following of more than five million fans. He went straight to #1 on the iTunes singer/ chart with the release of his debut EP A Piece of Me. He has topped the international charts and because of his pioneering spirit, Wired Magazine invited him to speak at their flagship conference, Wired 2015.

TobyMac & Hollyn: With more than 22 million units in career sales and 6 Grammy awards, TobyMac’s music is a perfect blend of rock, and soul. In 2009, he earned a Grammy award for Best Rock Gospel . In 2012, TobyMac earned his first No. 1 Christian album on since 1997. In 2013, his album , received the Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Album and a Grammy award for Best Contemporary album. That same year, he also won a billboard music award for Top Christian Artist. Some of his most popular hits include, “” and “.”

Raised in the church and on Southern , Hollyn is a co-writer for the songs “Lights Shine Bright” and “Backseat Driver,” which are on TobyMac’s newest album. She co-wrote five of the six tracks on her debut EP which also features two tracks “Hey Mama” and “Nothin’ on You.”

CHEAP TRICK: With more than 5,000 performances, 20 million records sold, 29 movie soundtracks and 40 gold and platinum recording awards, it is no surprise this rock band was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They were also honored by the Chicago Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences for their contributions to the music industry. Their timeless classics include “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and “The .” Their most current release, The Latest, has garnered glowing reviews worldwide, as they continue their legacy of more than 35 years in the music industry.

Kelsea Ballerini: launched to country music stardom in 2015 with the release of her #1, gold-selling debut .” She is the first solo female artist in nine years to hit #1 with her debut country single and one of only 11 women to have ever hit the top of the charts with a debut. She has been touted by Billboard Magazine as “Country’s Next Queen,” praised by as one of the “10 Artists You Need To Know” from all genres and selected as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country. Two of her hits have landed Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart.

116 Clique: This collection of inspirational Christian hip-hop artists from take their name from Romans 1:16. Members of the group include Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii and KB, who have performed at the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards. KB and Mineo’s song “100” has been named “Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year,” while Mineo also took home the Dove award for “Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year.”

Andy Grammer: Andy Grammer is a Platinum-selling recording artist who wowed viewers with his performances on last season’s Dancing with the Stars. The pop singer is widely known for his irresistible hit song “Honey I’m Good.” Grammer has played sold out venues nationwide, performed on stage with Taylor Swift and Train and received two BMI Pop Music Awards. His platinum debut hit single “Keep Your Head Up,” won an MTV Award for Most Innovative and had a prominent placement in the movie “Pitch Perfect.” His single “Miss Me,” has reached the Top 10 on VH1’s “Top 20” weekly video countdown.

MercyMe: This praise and worship band was founded in 1994 and thanks to the Dove award-winning single “I Can Only Imagine,” topped the Christian charts, made the top 40 in the overall album charts and eventually went platinum. Their album, , followed in 2002 and earned the band three more Dove Awards. The band’s fourth album arrived in April 2006, charting high on Billboard’s album charts.

Emerson Drive & Waterloo Revival: A Grammy-nominated country band with a bright future, Emerson Drive has been a part of the country music scene since they signed their first record deal in 2001. The band’s first two singles, “” and “,” peaked on Billboard’s Top 5 and quickly became fan favorites. However, it was the career-changing song “Moments” that gave the band their first #1 single. They have been honored with awards and nominations from

CMT, Dove Awards, The Grammy Awards and the Inspirational Country Music Association.

Waterloo Revival’s first two radio singles “Hit the Road” and “Bad For You” introduced the duo’s music to Country radio in 2015 with an overwhelming positive response.

Tamela Mann: Tamela brings unbridled energy and creative passion to her multi- faceted career. An acclaimed actress, NAACP Image Award Nominee and Dove Award-winning vocalist, 2012 was a memorable year for her. She joined Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston in the film “Sparkle” and released a new album, Best Days. Her previous album, The Master Plan, won the 2011 Dove Award for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year. She has played many roles in films by Tyler Perry and also co-stars with her husband David in the #1 TBS Series, “Meet the Browns.”

Martina McBride: Country superstar Martina McBride got her big break when Garth Brooks gave her an opening slot on his concert tour in 1990. She became highly successful and her songs have topped country charts for the next fifteen years. Some of her hits include “This One’s for the Girls,” “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Valentine.” In 1999, she earned her first CMA Award for Female Vocalist of the Year and was selected to perform for the president. She snagged her second CMA Award for Best Female vocalist in 2002, after releasing her Greatest Hits 2001 Album, which included four new singles. In 2003, the Academy of Country Music presented her with the Top Female Vocalist trophy, as well as the Country Music Association, who presented her with the Female Vocalist of the Year title.

Skillet: Skillet recently made headlines when their last album, Awake, became one of just three rock albums to be certified platinum in 2012 when this album sold more than a million copies in the United States. Fans of all ages eagerly awaited their follow-up album Rise, including “Good to Be Alive” and “Hard to Find.” The band is a fan favorite at Wild Adventures having performed for many years due to popular demand by guests.

Colt Ford: A Georgia native, four of Colt Ford’s five albums have peaked in the Top 10 on the Billboard Country Chart. His unique and fresh style of music includes an urban pinch, Southern country, rock, hip-hop and influences. In 2012, he received a nomination for the American Country Award Artist of the year: Breakthrough Artist. Some of his most popular hits include “,” “” and “Hip Hop in a Honky Tonk.”
