WHAT IS THE NATIONAL FISHING LEAGUE? The National Fishing League is the Angling Trust/Angling Times National Fishing competition that rewards regular participation and performance from match/club anglers.
The National Fishing League is another great way to compete against other anglers and gives you the chance to be crowned the National Fishing League Champion! And it’s totally FREE to take part!

National and Regional prizes to the NFL champions National Fishing League GRAND FINAL where the top ten in each region are invited All you have to do is fish and score points at NFL registered fisheries. HOW TO JOIN THE 2014-15 NATIONAL FISHING LEAGUE? The registration process couldn’t be simpler, all you have to do is to contact your local Angling Trust Regional Development Officer from the list below, or complete the Angling Times NFL COUPON featured weekly in the Angling Times and follow the instructions;

INFORMATION FOR ANGLERS - HOW TO FISH IN A LEAGUE COMPETITION: Once you have registered, enter one of the National Fishing League competitions run at a registered club or fishery and begin collecting your National Fishing League points for the chance to become the Angling Trust Regional or National League Points Champion in your chosen discipline.
Keep an eye on the Angling Times pages where we will publish lists of all the clubs and fisheries where you can take part and win points. Make sure you register your place and spread the news to a friend so they can get involved too!
INFORMATION FOR CLUBS AND FISHERIES - HOW TO HOST A LEAGUE COMPETITION: The National Fishing League is the Angling Trust/Angling Times National Fishing competition that rewards regular participation and performance from match/club anglers.
Contact your local Angling Trust Regional Development Officer.
All you have to do is to declare two of your weekly matches as National Fishing League points counting events. These will be the only matches anglers can gain points at your Fishery/Club.
Send weekly results of the top ten anglers in those two counting events to your Angling Trust Regional Officer. THAT’S IT!
