In one of the largest awards in a case involving silicone breast implants, a Nevada jury ordered the Dow Chemical Company to pay $10 million in punitive damages to a woman who claimed to be severely .injured by the devices. Added compensatory damages brought the total amount to $14.1 million. Dow Chemical is the sixth largest chemical company and owned the leading producer in the nation ol'breasi implants. Dow Chemical is defendant in over 13,000 breast implant lawsuits. H
