Medical Health Camp at Mowiseri A Medical Camp was organized by Abhilashi Ayurvedic College & Hospital at Village Mowiseri lead by team of Doctors viz. Under the vocational education of Government School Bhangarotu, 68 students of health care SWACHH BHARAT MISSION subjects visited the eld on Tuesday 30/01/2018 at Abhilashi University. On 3rd February 2018, a meeting was organized for the successful conduct of Special Sanitation Campaign run by Sub-Divisional Ofcer (Citizen) Gohar, District Mandi (H.P.) under the Clean India Mission of the Chailchowk at Abhilashi University. Abhishek Soni Nodal Ofcer Swachh Bharat Mission said that in the meeting, my Himachal will complete clean Himachal subject (theme) by students of Abhilashi University's Clean India Mission. It has been decided in the meeting that on February 5, students and students of the university will take oath of cleanliness. After this, a lecture will also be organized. 7 NEWS LETTER AAU FEB - MARCH, 2018 MBA students visit ACC Barmana on 21/03/2018 The students of Faculty of Management (MBA) visited ACC Barmana on dated 21/03/2018 under the supervision of Mr. Hemant Kapoor HOD School of Management, Abhilashi University. The students visited HR, Finance and Sales department. In the HR Department they learnt the working of the employees and recruitment process. In Finance Department They learnt the maintenance of accounts (Preparation of the Cash Book, Ledger, Trial Balance and Balance sheet) by the employees of the department. In sales department they learnt the procedure of selling of cement products according to the demand of the vendors. Students asked a number of questions regarding the HR management, maintenance of accounts and procedure of the sale of the product of the company. The managers of the respective departments convinced the students thereby adding a lot to the knowledge of the students.

The rst batch of the Pharmacy Department of Abhilashi University Chailchowk will succeed 100% placement. Under the Campus Placement Program in the Pharmacy Department of Abhilashi University Chailchowk, the well-known Minor Health Care, under the campus placement program, interviewed at the campus of the aspiring university Chailchowk. Children have been selected for Production, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department by Minor Health Care. 9 students from the pharmacy have been selected. The students of B.Sc. Agriculture innovated “ZERO ENERGY COOLING CHAMBER” at Abhilashi University which was presented in the Ninth Indian Youth Science Congress in NIIT, Hamirpur. University students secured third place in the India by presenting the best model of Zero Energy Cooling Chamber at the Ninth Indian Youth Science Congress Hamirpur. This program has been organized in the presence of Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Union Health Minister, Jai Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur, from May 7 - 9, 2018. World Environment Day 05/06/2018 International Day of Yoga (21/06/2018) Abhilashi University celebrate the International Day of Yoga on 21/06/2018. On this occasion, the students and the teachers of Ayurveda Department of Abhilashi University gave the message of being healthy by yoga.
World Environment Day was celebrated in Abhilashi University. On this occasion, Dr. Promila Abhilashi, Vice Chairperson, Abhilashi Educational Society said that Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev ji, who gave the message of goodness to the world, has continued to inspire us to do good work for the society in all time to come. Abhilashi College of Pharmacy Inaugurated on 01/08/2018
Celebra on of Independence cum Founda on Day To Day on 14th August, 2018, Abhilashi University completed fourthyear of its establishment & Independence. Therefore, establishment and Independence Day of Abhilashi University, Chailchowk was celebrated with great enthusiasm. All the guests were welcomed by the students and staff of the university. On this occasion, Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Ram Krishan Abhilashi, Pro- Chancellor, Dr. Lalit Abhilashi, Dr. Narbada Abhilashi, Dr. Promila Abhilashi were amongst the prominent guests. The Abhilashi University National Service Scheme, self-service students presented National Anthem by saluting the ag and Hon'ble Chancellor took the solute. Thereafter by lighting the lamp in front of Saraswati Ma, the inauguration of the program at Abhilashi University started. On this occasion, Dr. A. S. Guleria, Vice Chancellor of the University welcomed the Chief Guest and all other guests & participants. Sh. Abhishek Sony presented all the related information with the help of Power Point. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest said that the University will get accreditation of NAAC next year and accreditation of the ICAR will be done and inspiring everyone to move forward through education. On this occasion, colorful program and attractive presentation w e r e m a d e b y t h e s t u d e n t s . O n t h i s o c c a s i o n , o t h e r dignitaries including Mr. Wade Prakash Sharma, Secretary Gold Cup (Hockey), a unit of Hockey India, Dr. A. S. Guleria, Er. Kapil Kapoor, Deans, Coordinators, Heads of the Departments / in- c h a r g e s e t c . w e r e present.

Celebration of Teachers' day on 27/08/2018 th 5 September, 2018 Teachers' Day was celebrated in the University playground on 5th September, 2018. Dr. Lalit Kumar Abhilashi, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor was the Chief Guest. The playground was beautifully decorated by the pandal with seating and stage arrangement. The function started after the cordial reception and welcome of Mrs. Promila Abhilashi, Hon'ble Vice- Chancellor, Prof. A.S. Guleria, Deans of various Faculties, DSW and Teachers. Dr. (Mrs.) Promila Abhilashi was honoured by offering Cap, Memento and colourful badge. Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A.S. Guleria was honoured by offering Kullu Cap, Memento and a colourful badge. He also enjoyed the Himachali dance alongwith the students on the stage. Similarly, Prof. S.S. Masand, Mr. Shashi kant, Prof. Amit Chaudhary, Prof. D.K. Mishra, Prof. S.C. Chauhan, Mr. Mayank Sharma and non-teaching staff members were honoured. At 1:10 PM, B.Sc. Agriculture 1st year students performed dance and cultural programme. After this, the teachers of the School of Agriculture, School of Pharmacy and School of Basic science were honoured and assigned suitable titles to act on the stage. This was followed by a duet dance bby Sikkim students. On his arrival at 3:20 PM, The Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor, Dr. lalit Kumar Abhilashi was honoured by offering Bouquet, Cap, Memento and a colourful Badge. At 3:25 PM, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor addressed the staff and students. He congratulated the staff and appreciated the decoration and preparation made by the students as a mark of respect to their teachers. He stated that Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was a great teacher, philosopher, administrator and statesman, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day since 1962. Teacher is a lightening source (Deepak) which shows the path to the students. The Chief Guest emphasized that mother is the rst Guru to rear the child and reecting the image of Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara. However, place of a teacher is considered above the parents to make the child as human being, good citizen and obedient follower. Teacher in the school, college and University provides academic, behavioral and spiritual knowledge to students. Teacher prepares the student the way the pitcher pot is made by the potter which puries the water and gives the feeling of peace, cool and patience. Similar regards of the teachers were made by all those students who have objectivity, patience and commitment of being accountable citizens. As a mark of respect to the teachers and staff, the students hosted lunch to all the teaching, non- teaching staff and other participants in the Dining Hall of newly built Girls Hostel. However, the cultural programme continued with enjoyment and satisfaction. At 4:30 PM, the honouring of the teachers of the faculty of Engineering and Management was conducted one by one assigning suitable titles, tasks and performances. At 5:15 PM, Hon'ble Vice- Chancellor, Prof. A.S. Guleria thanked the Hon'ble Chief Guest, Dr. Lalit Kumar Abhilashi for sparing his valuable minutes to grace the occasion. Prof. Guleria also read the message of the Hon'ble Chancellor conveying good wishes and thanks to all the students, teachers and staff. The function ended with a Himachali Dance.

Celebra on of Engineers' Day cum Fresher's Party on 15th September,2018 Engineers' Day cum Freshers' party of the Faculty of Engineering and Management was organized in the Multipurpose Hall on 15th September2018 and Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Hon'ble Chancellor of the University was the Chief Guest. The Stage was beautifully decorated. Function started with the speech of ChewangBhutiaon Engineering Day followed by the speech of Mr. Aman (B.Tech. 7th semester student). The speakers threw life on the history of renowned engineer Mr. MokshagundumVisvesvaraya, Bharat Ratna Award Winner, whose birthday is celebrated as Engineer's Day. They also highlighted the role of Engineers in the developing countries like India. The theme of the Engineer's Day 2018 was, “Engineering Challenges for Knowledge Era”. This was followed by the solo song by Ms. DivyaKumari (B.Tech. student), at 12:30 PM, the activity of assigning suitable titles, tasks and performances to the junior students (Fresher)of B.Tech. 1st and MBA 1st year was performed. Suitable titles such as Mr. Dynamic, Mr. Story Teller, Mr. Fitness, Mr. Photography, Mr. Silent Observer etc. were assigned. This was followed by a solo song by MBA student. After this, again the activity of assigning titles, tasks and performances began. Then a Sikkim group dance was performed by Ankita& group. On the arrival of the Hon'bleChief Guest, Dr. R.K. Abhilashi at 1:15 PM the lamp lightening ceremony was performed by the Hon'ble Chief Guest followed by Mrs. PromilaAbhilashi, Prof. A.S. Guleria, Prof. D.K. Mishra, Prof. S.C. Chauhan Prof. S.S. Masand and Mr. Sashi Kant. Now a Sikkim group dance by Ankita& Group was replayed which was enjoyed by Hon'ble Chief Guest and others.At 1:15 PM, Hon'ble Chief Guest, Mrs. PromilaAbhilashi (COE) and Hon'ble Vice- Chancellor Prof. A.S. Guleria were honored by offering gifts by Dr. S.C. Chauhan, Er. Chaman Lal Sharma and Mr. Hemant Kapoor respectively.

Hon'ble Chief Guest delivered his valuable and inspiring speech. He told that Abhilashi Group of Institutions started its journey from a tuition centre at Nerchowk. Tiday the Group has earned a status of a big Group of Institutions having ve Campuses including Abhilashi University at Chailchowk. This progress is only due to the untiring efforts of the Group. He said there is no shortage of job avenues for the Engineering and Management students. Only those who have no knowledge of their subjects are jobless. Today B.Tech. & MBA pass students can be appointed as SDO and manager respectively directly provided they have the knowledge of their subjects.We should understand the value of time and time management only then we shall be successful in our life. If we have good knowledge of our subject only then there is importance of degree earned and only then the service posts held are recognized by the public. The activity of honouring the freshers by senior students by assigning titles, tasks and performance was replayed. Musical skit, “A Whole Engineering College Life,” played by Engineering students was enjoyed by the audience. Again the honouring of the freshers by senior students was completed. This was followed by a Group Song by SadiqueMustaq& Group (English Song). A Candle Lightening game was played by the freshers. At 4:15 PM Mr. & Ms. Freshers, Mr. & Ms. Personalities and Mr. Attire titles were decided, announced and honoured as Mr. Fresher = Mr. Mohit Sharma (B.Tech. 3.Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), Ÿ Entrepreneurship development in agriculture New Delhi: The journey of Indian Agricultural Ÿ Management development for extension Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa personnel Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) with the Ÿ Advances in training methodology generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American Ÿ Multimedia development philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. Dr. Murli Krishnan (ARS Scientist, Agricultural Extension) had accompanied us for ve hours along with eld assistant Mr. Prem Lal. He told us about the initiation of extension and economic department and their role to connect farmers to scientist or lab to land programme. The Division of Agricultural Extension came into being as an independent full-edged division in 1960. Since then, it has been playing a pioneering role in the growth and development of extension science with specic reference to research, education and training in extension education. And the Division of Agricultural Economics, a constituent of School of Social Sciences of IARI, was established in 1960. Since its inception, the Division has been making contributions in basic and applied research with signicant implications for agricultural policy.
