PARKWAY WEBSITES GET FACELIFT

• Improved user functionality • Enhanced search capabilities • Interactive elements

SINGAPORE, 14 July 2009 – Parkway Holdings Limited , one of ’s leading private healthcare providers, has re-launched its websites, www.parkwayholdings.com and www.parkwayhealth.com, with a sleek new look and updated contents, in order to make it easier for users to find the information they need.

The revamp is a move to enhance the customer experience, after the company received feedback from the public that the previous websites were difficult to navigate and there was insufficient information on them. Based on a “3-click” system that aims to allow users to find content relevant to them in 3 mouse clicks or fewer, the new websites deliver information about Parkway and its services in an easy-to-use, visually appealing manner.

Ms Rosanna Cil, Chief Communications Officer of Parkway Holdings Limited , said,

“Often, when people visit our websites, they are seeking information about our medical facilities and services as either they or their loved ones are sick. We understand that they may be in distress due to the sickness, and we are trying to minimise their distress by tailoring our websites to their needs and making them as “pain-free” to navigate as possible.

Also, with ’s position as an international hub for medical tourism, we have many

prospective foreign patients who turn to our websites for research on the healthcare options available here.”

She continued, “With our 3-click system, users will be able to locate the information they require easily. In fact, much of the information that such a user would be looking for is available on the homepage, ensuring that they do not have to navigate to another level or page to access it. We are constantly trying to improve our services by making our communications more patient-centric; here, we are ensuring that patients are provided with all the information they need.”

Key services that are accessible on the homepage of the ParkwayHealth site

(www.parkwayhealth.com) include appointment bookings and a function to search for doctors accredited with Parkway by specialty or hospital. Other distinctive features of the new ParkwayHealth site include virtual tours of our hospitals, allowing users to get a sense of our hospital rooms without needing to physically visit, a feature especially useful for prospective foreign patients; an e-dictionary providing helpful definitions of both frequently used acronyms relating to Parkway and medical terminology; and a Continuing Medical

Education (CME) calendar that gives doctors accredited with Parkway one-stop access to information on upcoming CME programmes at our hospitals.

Meanwhile, the revamped corporate website (www.parkwayholdings.com) seeks to deliver relevant information to financial analysts, investors and potential investors through new features in the Investor Relations section, such as stock quotes, key financial highlights, and a sign-up form for automated updates on financial announcements, all of which were previously not available. Other key functionalities to be added in the coming months include

a tool to allow investors to calculate the value of their shareholdings in Parkway, and access to historical stock prices.

Ms Cil said, “Parkway’s new websites reflect that we recognise that the Internet is now the chief source of information for many people today. Through the websites, we are enabling the public to access a wealth of information on Parkway in an extremely convenient and user-friendly manner. They represent our commitment to continuously improving communications with key stakeholders like our customers, and are one way we are fulfilling our vision to be the global leader in value-based integrated healthcare.”
