1. Dr. Sri Surajit Majumder, Faculty of Zoology and NSS Programme Officer (PO), Unit-I of this College has been awarded one of the five best NSS POs of this State for West Bengal State NSS Award 2013- 14.

2. Dr. Ananya Nayak, Faculty of Zoology awarded outstanding paper award at The 24th West Bengal State Science and Technology Congress, 2017, held at Science City, Kolkata from 28.02.2017 to 01.03.2017.

Extraordinary achievements of the students:

1. Participation of RD parade in New Delhi and selection of Samapti sinha Mahapatra (Zoology Hons. Student) to represent our country as NSS volunteer in view of ‗ BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India , China , South Africa) youth summit‘ held at Kazan (Russia) from 01.07.2015 to 08.07.2015 for Dance, Music ,and Rangoli making.

1. NSS state best volunteer Award 2013-14has been achieved by Trisha Misra ( student of Zoology Hons) . 2. Nilotpal Mahanty( student of Zoology Hons.) awarded first position in science quiz contest under West Bengal State Student Youth Science Fair 2018 at Kolkata. 3. Pragati Patra (Student of Zoology Hons.) awarded second best poster presenter in West Bengal Biodiversity Board sponsored National seminar on 11/12/2018. , 4. NET, SET,GATE qualified by Students.
