COOPER HAIR & MAKEUP

As a makeup artist, Cooper possesses an originality and creativity that never seizes to raise the bar. After the growing up reading W Magazine, back when it was a newspaper, Cooper discovered that his true calling life was hair and makeup.

Growing up as a child actor featured on “The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams,” Cooper began his career in the entertainment industry. By the age of seven, he had become the youngest member of “Ballet West,” an elite ballet company. In addition to acting and dancing, he was a Three Time World Champion gymnast—one of the first American gymnasts to win such world titles.

Once in Los Angeles, Cooper went on to dance for Janet Jackson’s “Nasty,” “Escapade,” and “When I Think of You” videos and was even the featured dance for Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” video. Cooper also had the honor of dancing for Paula Abdul, Brenda Russell, and Cher. Not leaving his acting roots, he was featured in several popular television series including “L.A. Law,” “Doogie Howser,” and “Melrose Place.”

Cooper decided to pursue a distinctive aspect of his dream career—the fashion industry. It was hair styling and makeup that excited him. Launching Cooper to his first job was a Georgio Armani runway show. With high praise from Georgio Armani himself, he went on to work with various other commendable designers such as Calvin Klein, Versace, Alberta Feretti, St. John, Tommy Hilfiger, and Escada. Editorial success soon found its way by having his work grace the cover of American Vogue, French Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and even his childhood muse—W Magazine.

Cooper has also been the spokesperson and celebrity makeup artist for NYX Cosmetics, Nicole Miller Cosmetics, and Arbonne International Cosmetics.

It is Cooper’s undeniable creative ability that gives him strength in both makeup and hair styling. He is the go-to-man from clean, simple, and classic looks to edgy, tough,

4 street vibe. The factor that solidified Cooper’s choice as an artist was the creative freedom that fashion gave him.

“The individual should wear the makeup and hair, not the hair and makeup wear the individual,” is his genuine philosophy.
