ANDREW ALLEN UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Andrew “Sid” Allen is from Round Rock, Texas. He attended the U.S. Military Academy and served as an Armor officer in the U.S. Army for ten years. His service included six years stationed in Germany and two tours to Iraq, where he earned two bronze stars. He enjoys traveling, hunting, and sports. He has been friends with his wife Robin since middle school. They have two boys, Andrew (3) and Elijah (1).

STEPHANIE BAUMGART ST. M ARY ’S UNIVERSITY Stephanie moved to San Antonio in 2006 to study finance and accounting at St. Mary’s University. As an undergrad, she founded the first student managed business in San Antonio. After graduation, she enrolled in the MBA program and ran a writing lab as a graduate assistant. In her spare time, she worked with faculty on a whitepaper for the Ethics Resource Center. This winter, she will be in Germany pursuing a master’s in international business and economics.

IVAN BERKOWITZ UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON Born and raised in the New York City area, Ivan Berkowitz is a 23 year old student at the University of Houston, studying Entrepreneurship and Supply Chain Management. As a youth he excelled in athletics such as hockey, lacrosse, basketball, soccer, tennis and weight lifting. His passion for fitness translated into his aspiration to one day start his own personal training service, in order to guide others in their journey to achieving their physical best.

BRIANNE BIDWELL BAYLOR UNIVERSITY Brianne Bidwell was born in Tucson, Arizona and is more recently from Waco, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a double major in marketing and management and holds an international business certificate. In December, she will be graduating from Baylor University with a Masters in Business Administration. She currently works with The Grounds Guys on developing the national accounts to help all of the franchisees develop and grow their individual businesses nation-wide. Upon graduation, she aspires to secure this as a full-time position as well as to continue growing her Mary Kay business. A fun fact about Brianne is that this past summer, she had the privilege of marrying her husband twice in one week - once in the Cayman Islands and once in Waco, Texas!

CHUL CHUNG RICE UNIVERSITY Chris Chung is from Waco, Texas. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the states when he was young. He graduated from Baylor University with B.A. in 2008. Currently, he is completing his MD/MBA program from Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University, respectively. He is interested in biotechnology & medical device ventures.

CHRISTOPHER CROUCH TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY Christopher Crouch is pursuing a master’s in business administration and a master’s of science in personal financial planning through the dual degree program at Texas Tech University. He is an active member of the Rawls Graduate Association and the Personal Financial Planning Association. Christopher is interested in a career in Personal Financial Planning and hopes to eventually run his own firm.

BRYAN DAIGLE ACTON SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Bryan is a serial entrepreneur who has founded four companies, one of which sold to a public company. Currently, he owns Webko Products, a product development firm that has launched brands such as the Headset Buddy and Bottle Mate. Bryan supports numerous causes including Big Brothers Big Sisters and UT’s Littlefield Society. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UT-Austin with a degree in Engineering. An avid traveler, Bryan has lived in six countries and visited over forty.

DANIEL GANDARILLA TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY Daniel Gandarilla is originally from San Diego, CA and was brought to Texas by his lovely wife, Juliana (a San Antonio native). He graduated from Stanford University and currently attends TCU for his MBA. He recently completed an internship at Proctor & Gamble. Daniel’s prior experience includes five years teaching high school. He plans a return to the business sector to learn new ways of thinking in preparation for his long term goal of educational reform.

ALEJANDRO GONZALEZ UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - P AN AM The son of migrant farm workers, Alejandro Gonzalez has gone from humble beginnings to working on global projects and with global clients. From collaborating with esteemed author Dr. John Darcy in Tokyo on a presentation examining emergency tax legislation resulting from the great east Japan earthquake to serving clients including ConocoPhillips, Waste Management, and Transocean as an auditor for Ernst & Young, this proud Texan strives to make an impact here and around the world.

MATTHEW JACKSON UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - S AN ANTONIO Matthew Jackson is a native Texan raised in the beautiful Hill Country. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with Business Honors distinction from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Matthew is a proud alumni and an active member of the community. He also has an extensive professional history, with experience in management and enterprise development. Matthew is currently the founder and CEO of PREE Corporation, a technology development company based in San Antonio.

REMSEN JENNINGS UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - D ALLAS Remsen Jennings graduated summa cum laude with two Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and finance from The University of Texas at Dallas, serving as the keynote student speaker at his commencement ceremony. During his time at UT Dallas, he has served as a UT System Student Advisory Council member, was elected student body vice president, and was president of the School of Management's business honors program. During the past year and a half, Remsen held internships at both J.P. Morgan and Ernst & Young. While continuing his internship with J.P. Morgan, he is currently pursuing a master's degree in accounting at UT Dallas and will sit for the CPA exam in the spring before starting a full-time position in external auditing with Ernst & Young next summer.

RAYMOND JONES UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS Raymond Jones is a PhD Candidate and Professor at the University of North Texas in the College of Business’ Management Department. He received his MBA from St. Bonaventure University in upstate New York and his BA in political science from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. Raymond worked for several years in a large financial service firm before starting his own consulting business with his wife Janet, which they still own and operate. His academic research centers around entrepreneurial action and innovation, specifically the factors that both contribute to and constrain entrepreneurial opportunities. Raymond is also dedicated to helping guide and focus his students (potential entrepreneurs) to realize their individual career goals and encourage their entrepreneurial spirit.

KHURRAM KHAN HOUSTON BAPTIST UNIVERSITY Khurram will graduate in December with a BA/BS in Finance/Biology. He has assumed officer positions for numerous campus organizations and is currently president of the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. Khurram has completed an investment banking analyst internship at Starlight Investments, and a financial adviser internship at Merrill Lynch. He has volunteered at Memorial Hermann Hospital and the YMCA for more than 400 hours. He currently teaches MCAT/SAT/ACT courses for The Princeton Review.

SONIA KIRKPATRICK UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS Sonia Kirkpatrick received her BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and her MBA from University of Dallas in Global Business. Sonia has an extensive corporate tax background and has held positions for mid-sized and startup companies as Controller and CFO. Sonia is currently the Global Director of Excellence and Projects in the Real Estate Division for Nokia Siemens Networks. Sonia is a mother to three daughters, one of which was diagnosed with autism. Sonia has continually faced challenges in receiving care and treatment for her daughter. It was during this three year journey of endless testing and different doctors that Sonia began developing the idea for PediaPlex, an early intervention for Autism center. The grand opening for the first PediaPlex location in Southlake, Texas is scheduled for January 2012.

JOSEPH LE SAM HOUSTON STATE UNIVERSITY Joseph Le is owner and operator of Le Farms in Bedias, Texas. Le Farms is a poultry free range pullet farm and cattle ranch. Mr. Le is currently working on his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management at Sam Houston State University. He is projected to graduate in summer 2012. Mr. Le plans to continue his education with a Master’s of Business Administration, and he hopes to work in Aerospace and Defense management after graduation.

MICHELLE MARTIN TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY Michelle Martin is currently employed as the College Business Administrator in the Department of Student Academic Enhancement Services at Texas Southern University. She earned her BA degree in Mathematics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is currently enrolled in her third semester towards her MBA degree from Texas Southern University. Since she is passionate about students obtaining a college education, Ms. Martin is extremely active in the community where she presents college planning seminars.

JAMES SKIDMORE TEXAS A&M As a senior at Texas A&M University, James is completing his degree in Management Information Systems and Business Honors. His entrepreneurial interests began at a young age by doing website design for local businesses. Over the past few years, he has had the privilege of founding and co-founding two Internet start-ups in the high school journalism and team apparel/sporting goods industries. This scholarship is a true blessing that will assist with his future business ventures.

JOSEPH SOOS TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY Joseph Steven Soos grew up in Round Rock and graduated from Texas State. Steve has been in a number of businesses startups. He worked in Japan as a teacher and speaks Japanese. After Japan he was based out of Dubai working for Meridium as training manager for the Middle East, Africa and Europe. He has been to over thirty countries. Steve returned to Texas to earn an MBA and pursue new business opportunities.

HUNTER WILLIAMS SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIVERSITY Hunter grew up in El Paso and Austin. In 2008, he graduated cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South where he majored in economics and was co-captain of the baseball team. Prior to graduate school, he worked as an Estimator for EAS Contracting. He is a full-time MBA student at Cox School of Business at SMU concentrating in finance and operations, and currently serves as a co-chair of the Honor Council and president of the Cox Christian Business Society. He is an intern with Barrier Advisors.
