FILMING THE NEW JAMES BOND 007 FILM “Quantum of Solace”

GARDESANA OCCIDENTALE: –

As widely publicized in the media, from April 15 to 24 our area will be involved in the filming of the 22nd James Bond film “Quantum of Solace”, directed by Marc Forster and Dan Bradley.

The action scenes, with James Bond’s famous Aston Martin involved in high-speed chases and spectacular crashes, will be filmed on the Gardesana Road between Gargnano and Riva del Garda.

Here are the hours and sections involved in the Gardesana Occidentale road closings:

Tuesday, April 15 ● From 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.: closed from Gargnano to the intersection. ● From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: closed from Limone sul Garda (south of Hotel Panorama) to Riva del Garda. ● From 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.: closed from Campione to Limone sul Garda (up to Hotel Leonardo da Vinci).

Monday, April 21 (helicopter and film set shoots) ● From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: closed from Gargnano to Riva del Garda (to north of Hotel Panorama). ● From 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.: closed from Campione to Limone (up to Hotel Leonardo da Vinci).

Tuesday, April 22 - Wednesday, April 23 - Thursday, April 24 ● From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.: closed from Campione (right before the tunnel) to Limone sul Garda (up to Hotel Leonardo da Vinci).

For connections during road closings, the film producers have asked Navigarda to add to its regularly scheduled routes extra free trips on the routes of Maderno – Limone – Maderno and Maderno – Limone – Riva. GARDESANA ORIENTALE: – Torbole

Here are the dates, times, and traffic plans for the filming of the James Bond “Quantum of Solace” film on the Gardesana Orientale SS249 road between Malcesine and Torbole (Km 89 – 92) (the tunnel section between Navene and Tempesta).

Tuesday, April 15 ● Total closing of the road from 7:00 to 12:00 p.m. ● Alternating one-way traffic from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (following morning).

Wednesday, April 16 - Thursday, April 17 - Friday, April 18 ● Total closing of the road from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ● Alternating one-way traffic from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (following morning)

Saturday, April 19 ● Total closing of the road from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

If necessary, there will be alternating one-way traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 21.
