BRONCOS LET EARLY LEAD SLIP AWAY IN LOSS TO STEELERS

The Denver Broncos (10-4) opened up a 17-point first-half lead before falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) by a final score of 34-27. At halftime, Denver led Pittsburgh 27-13 as QB completed 14-of-18 passes (77.8%) for 214 yards with three touchdowns (155.8 rtg.) and one rushing score. Osweiler became just the third Broncos quarterback (John Elway 2x and 1x) to throw for at least three touchdowns and rush for another in the same game. He is the first player in the NFL to accomplish that feat in a first half since Manning in 2013 (at Dal., 10/6/13).
