PEREZ EN FUEGO--Kansas City Salvador Perez has been a welcome addition to the lineup since returning from left knee surgery that cost him nearly three months of the season...since joining the big league club for the first time in 2012 on June 22, the 22-year old receiver has hit safely in 15 of 17 games at a .371 clip (23-for-62), including his first 11 after returning from the disabled list...his average in that span is second among all Major League with at least 50 at bats, trailing only Minnesota’s Ryan Doumit (.404)...Perez has also neurtralized the running game with the opposition stealing only one bag in his last 10 starts.
