Broadcast in partnership with NBC and Golf Channel, the Championship offers a purse among the highest in women’s golf. The event combines an annual major golf championship with the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit and an ongoing charitable initiative, the KPMG Future Leaders Program – all focused on the development, advancement, and empowerment of women on and off the golf course. The event brings together today’s most accomplished leaders in business, politics, media, and sports with the next generation of women leaders to inspire them in their development and advancement into the C-Suite. The distinguished lineup of past speakers includes Dr. Condoleezza Rice (66th U.S. Secretary of State), Amy Hood (Microsoft), Regina Dugan (Facebook), Adena Friedman (NASDAQ), Dick Ebersol (NBC Sports), several Olympic gold medalists and accomplished athletes, and many more inspiring leaders. The day concludes with the presentation of the KPMG Inspire Greatness Award, honoring a current leader and pioneer who has transcended their industry and shown an ongoing commitment to empowering and advancing the next generation of women. In 2016, the award was presented to LPGA Legend and Entrepreneur Annika Sorenstam. The KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit will return during 2018 Championship week and will be held on site Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Kemper Lakes Golf Club. KPMG FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM In 2016, KPMG announced a new charitable initiative, the KPMG Future Leaders Program, focused on the development of future generations of women leaders, and named 66th U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice as its ambassador to help facilitate the program. Funded by proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit, the program affords top female high school seniors the opportunity to enhance their personal growth through a $10,000 college scholarship (per year for four years), a leadership development retreat at Stanford University, a mentoring relationship with a woman business leader, and an introduction to golf. Applicants to the program must demonstrate a proven track record of academic excellence, leadership potential, strong community involvement, and financial need. Requirements: Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a 2 or 4-year accredited college with a strong passion for the turfgrass industry. Golf course experience preferred. Benefits: Golf privileges, attendance to one MAGCS golf event, some meals, and housing will be provided Compensation: $12.00 an hour- Time and a half after 40 hours Biltmore Country Club: Biltmore is an 18-hole high-end private country club located in the village of North Barrington. Biltmore has “Bent/Poa” push up greens and “Bent/Poa” tees and fairways. We are known for our planting of annuals around the clubhouse and throughout the golf course.
