Curtain Fig Tree The Cathedral Fig Tree is an enormous strangler fig tree located a short drive from Yungaburra. The giant tree is over 500 years old and gets its name from the many aerial roots which hang down from the branches created a large curtain. There's a short boardwalk which surrounds the base of the giant tree and is definitely worth a look! Hypipamee Crater Hypipamee Crater is a volcanic pipe that opened upward through the rock surface after a tremendous eruption. The vent is over 100m deep and keeps its 61 metre diameter the whole way down! Various walks up to the crater are available. There is a concrete path fast- tracking you to the lookout; alternatively there is a 'natural' path with beautiful views of Dinner Falls along the way. Millaa Millaa Falls Beautiful Millaa Millaa, the ‘Village in the Mist’, is the gateway to the Southern Tablelands. At 873 metres above sea level, the town nestles in emerald hills surrounded by dairy farms and a circuit of waterfalls. Its lookout presents the most expansive views in the area and the image of Millaa Millaa Falls has become an icon of the region.
