FATEHA

The House offered Fateha for the departed souls of Major Ali Salman and three other Pakistan Army Jawans martyred in Deer blast. The following members spoke on the matter:-

QUESTIONS

2. Questions entered in a separate list to be  Question Nos. 175, 33, 35, 36, 40, 41, 43 asked and answers given. and 45 were asked and their answers given. Question Nos. 177 and 198 were transferred to Capital Administration and Development Division, respectively for answer on Next Rota Day.  Replies of Question Nos. 53 and 200 were not received.  Question No. 47 referred to Cabinet Division for allocation of subject.  All Questions relating to Ministry of Water Resources were deferred on next rota day.  Question No. 44 referred to Standing Committee concerned.

QUORUM

Quorum.- At 12.20 p.m. Mr. Amjad Ali Khan, MNA belonging to PTI drew attention of the Chair towards the lack of quorum. Count was made, the quorum was not available. Mr. Deputy Speaker suspended the proceedings till the completion of quorum. The House reassembled at 12.46 p.m. Count was made, the House was not in order, whereupon Honourable Deputy Speaker adjourned the House for Thursday, the

17th August, 2017.

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

3. MS. KHALIDA MANSOOR SYED IFTIKHAR-UL-HASSAN to invite attention of the Minister for Interior to a matter of urgent public importance regarding supply of contaminated water of Left over Rawal Dam to the residents of Islamabad and extermination of fishes therein, causing grave concern amongst the public.

MUHAMMAD YUSUF TALPUR and MR. SHAFQAT MAHMOOD, Members of the Left over National Assembly be elected as members of the Board of Governors, National Book Foundation, Islamabad as required by paragraph (ii) of sub-section (7) of section 4 of the National Book Foundation Act, 1972.

5. SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs moved the following motion:-

“This House expresses its deep gratitude Left over to the President of Pakistan for his address to both Houses assembled together on 1st June, 2017”.

AISHA SYED to invite attention of the Minister for Energy to a matter of urgent public importance regarding eighteen Left over hours daily loadshedding in Districts Buner, Dir Upper, Dir Lower and Swat, causing grave concern amongst the public.
