In the first match on, Nadal brings a 10-2 head-to-head advantage against Monfils. This is their first meeting on grass. Nadal won the last two meetings in the opening month of the 2014 season (Doha Final, Aust. Open 3R). Nadal is trying to reach his third final in Stuttgart, having won the title in 2005 and ’07. He is trying to reach his 95th career final (65-29) and seventh on grass (3-3). Monfils is attempting to advance to his first grass court final and 23rd overall (5-17). In the second match, Cilic has a 5-3 head-to-head record against Troicki but the Serb has won the last three meetings.This is also their first meeting on grass.
