The Bandits won both games with runs in their last at-bat and now lead the Last 10 Games 4-6 Chiefs by one game with seven games to play. The 33-29 Bandits host the 32-30 Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the series finale. 2014 Best Mark: 25-16 2014 Worst Mark: 3-4 EARLY DEFICIT: Quad Cities grabbed an early lead in game one against Chiefs LAST GAME - SUNDAY Overall: 32-30 starter Rob Kaminsky. Chas McDonald drew a lead off the second with a walk and R H E LOB Home Record: 16-11 scored on a one-out double by Tyler White. Garcia was thrown out at third to end the inning with the game tied 1-1. The Chiefs went in order in the seventh, tying the teams in the standings. Opp. Wins in last AB: 7 Extra Innings: 5-2 EARLY LEAD IN GAME 2: Game two started with the Chiefs getting on the board in the top of the first against Andrew Thurman. C.J. Double headers: 9-3 Shutouts: 5-8 McElroy Jr. led off with a walk and Vaughn Bryan singled before both runners moved up on a groundout to shortstop. Carson Kelly put the One-run game 11-8 Chiefs on top 1-0 with a sacrifice fly but Bryan was thrown out at third after McElroy scored to end the inning. Two-run games 8-8 Scoring 4 or less: 15-26 ADDING ON: The Chiefs doubled the lead in the fourth inning against Thurman. Herrera led off with a double off the center-field wall and Scoring 5 or more: 17-3 he moved to third on a flyout to center. Mason Katz put the Chiefs on top 2-1 with a RBI groundout to third base. Allowing 4 or less: 26-14 Allowing 5 or more: 6-16 BANDITS BOUNCE BACK: Blake McKnight shut the Bandits down over the first three innings. Jose Fernandez got the hosts on the board with a 6/1 KC L 0-2 single through a drawn-in infield. 6/2 KC W 5-3 6/3 Off Day LAST AB LOSS PART 2: The Chiefs were still on top 2-1 into the bottom of the sixth. White took a pitch off the shoulder and Ronnie 6/4 @ BEL L 1-2 6/5 @ BEL L 8-9 Mitchell reached on a throwing error by Robelys Reyes at second to put two on with nobody out. Chris Perry reliever McKnight and both 6/6 @ BEL W 1-0 runners moved up on a sacrifice bunt. Fernandez, making his first start of the season, singled to right to put Quad Cities on top 3-2. With 6/7 @ QC Rained Out Fernandez at second, Lindauer singled to left for a 4-2 lead before Brandon Lee came out of the pen to end the inning. The Chiefs again went 6/8 @ QC L 1-3 (7) in order in the seventh inning as Quad Cities took over the Wild Card lead. sp 6/8 @ QC L 2-4 (7) 6/9 @ QC 6/10 KC PITCHING IN: In game one, Kaminsky allowed one run on two hits over five innings with three walks and four strikeouts. Herget (3-3) 6/11 KC took the loss as he allowed two runs on three walks in 2/3 of an inning. Sabatino allowed a hit and walked one in 1/3 of an inning. In game 6/12 KC 6/13 CLI two McKnight (1-6) allowed three runs, two earned, over five innings. He walked one, struck out two and allowed five hits. Perry allowed one 6/14 CLI run on two hits while also allowing two inherited runners to score in the blown save. Lee struck out both batters he faced. 6/15 CLI 6/16 Off Day Playoff Picture: With the two losses the Chiefs are now 32-30 on the half with seven games remaining before the All-Star break. The Chiefs 6/17 MWL All-Star Game at West Michigan 6/18 Off Day are one game behind Quad Cities and a half game behind Burlington. Wisconsin is also in the race, one game behind the Chiefs and two 6/19 @ QC behind Quad Cities. The Chiefs are at Quad Cities Monday before hosting Kane County and Clinton for three games each. Quad Cities plays 6/20 @ QC three at Cedar Rapids and hosts Wisconsin to end the half. Burlington hosts a double header Monday against Clinton. Burlington will then 6/21 @ QC play three games each at Clinton and Cedar Rapids. 6/22 @ QC 6/23 Off Day 6/24 CR Notes: The Chiefs were 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position Sunday…Peoria is 2-8 in Sunday games this season The Chiefs are 1-9 in 6/25 CR their last ten road games…Peoria had been 9-1 in double header games on the season and 8-9 in day games…The Chiefs have lost seven 6/26 CR nd 6/27 QC games in the opponents final at bat…Juan Herrera stole his 22 base and is fifth in the MWL…The Chiefs are 8-8 in two-run games and all 6/28 QC four losses on this road trip have been by one or two runs…Ronald Castillo missed his third straight game…The Chiefs are hitting .220 in 6/29 QC seven games in June…Both Ronnierd Garcia and Richy Pedroza had four-game hit streaks end on Sunday…Perry allowed his first run since 6/30 QC May 16, a span of 12 2/3 innings THIS DAY IN CHIEFS HISTORY ABOUT THE OPPONENTS: Quad Cities joined the Midwest League in 1960 and won titles in 1971, 1979, 1990, 2011 and in 2013. Before 2000 - Albert Pujols goes 2-for-4 with a home run, signing with the Houston Astros in October, they were affiliated with the Cardinals from 2004-2012.
