LOCAL AUTHORITY CURRENT POSITION

Breckland - The Breckland Local Plan was adopted 28th November 2019.

Broadland - The current Local Development Plan is the Joint Core Strategy DPD (for Broadland, and ) adopted in 2011; a series of amendments were adopted in January 2014. - The emerging Greater Norwich Local Plan Regulation 18 Draft Plan Consultation is scheduled to take place between January - March 2020. - Adopted is predicted September 2021.

Great Yarmouth - The Local Plan Part 1 (Core Strategy) was adopted by Full Council on 21 December 2015. - The Local Plan Part 2 is currently under consultation. Once completed, the Local Plan will be adopted by Full Council and will form part of the Development Plan as part of current Local Plan (2013 to 2030). The expected adoption for this document is December 2020. - The New Local Plan (2021-2041) is expected to carry out the ‘call for sites’ in Autumn 2021. - The expected adoption date for the emerging Local Plan is Autumn/Winter 2023.

King’s Lynn & West - The Core Strategy is a document, which forms one part of the Local Development Norfolk Framework, was adopted in 2011. - Currently under Local Plan review up to 2036. - The draft Local Plan review was published for an eight-week consultation period from the 4 March to the 29 April 2019. - The Local Plan review is due to be adopted in the Spring months of 2021.

North Norfolk - The current Local Plan comprises the Core Strategy & Development Management Policies. - The Council produced its First Draft Local Plan Part 1 consultation in May/June 2019. - The adoption date is expected November 2020.

Norwich - The current Local Development Plan is the Joint Core Strategy DPD (for Broadland, Norwich and South Norfolk) adopted 2011, amendments adopted January 2014. - A consultation on the emerging Greater Norwich Local Plan Regulation 18 Draft Plan Consultation is scheduled to take place between January - March 2020. - Adoption is currently timetabled for September 2021.
