Ottawa Markets has paired up with the ByWard Market BIA to bring you the following amazing events! Come on down to celebrate! ByWard Blizzard Snow Art: These incredible snow sculptures will be placed throughout the ByWard Market to celebrate art and snow! Where: various locations. When: Throughout all 29th Annual ByWard Market Winterlude Stew Cook-off: For only $10 come taste three weeks of the festival. all the stew you can eat from over 20 ByWard Market restaurants and vote for your favorite one! All proceeds go to the Lowertown Community Resource Centre. Location: York Street, ByWard Market Winter Warm-Up Food Tour: This 2 hour walking food tour organized CTV parking lot. When: January 31st from 11:30am-2pm. by C’est Bon Cooking will teach you the history of the ByWard Market and fill you up at the same time! When: every Friday-Sunday throughout Winterlude from 2:30-4:30pm. Byward Beer Market: Come celebrate local independent craft brewers in an indoor/outdoor setting. Location: Lowertown Brewery, 73 York Street. When: February 1st from 11am-5 pm. Wagon Rides: Cundell Stables is offering free wagon rides so that everyone may enjoy this classic winter activity for all ages! Location (pick up and drop off): William Street Plaza. When: Creos Zones: These giant interactive installations use sound, movement and sight to light starting February 2nd every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday the 17th from 12-4pm. up the whole area!
