Introduction: Everyone wonders…What’s beyond this life? What will life in eternity be like? What new sights will fill our vision? What unlimited possibilities will be standard equipment on our glorified bodies? How will God in all His power and glory be revealed? The last two chapters of the give us some clues about how to answer our questions.

God’s plan is to completely wipe out the present earth and heavens! Revelation 21:1, Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

The New Heaven and New Earth will have a new Capital City…the New Jerusalem. 21:2, 9, 10, I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
