The Guide 2018–2019 Programs & Events Make This Girl Scout Year Your Best Yet. GSNorCal’s Volunteer Learning Portal is designed to support your experience. With the guidance and support of a volunteer, girls can go as far as their imaginations will take them—and you can be there, right by their side. In fact, 95% of volunteers say they make girls’ lives better at Girl Scouts (and that makes them happy). We know your time is valuable, which is why the majority of our learning courses are available online and accessible 24/7. This gives you the information you need just when you need it! Most of the online courses are fewer than 10 minutes long. You can study on your own time, learn at a pace that is convenient for you, and resume where you left off, and your progress will be tracked for your records. Get started by accessing our Volun- teer Learning Portal at training.gsnorcal.org. You also will find support for your troop with the Volunteer Toolkit App, which lets you manage troop communication and girl membership. We think it’s a great way for brand new leaders or leaders of new age levels to launch into Journeys or the legacy badges. This tool will be especially helpful to Daisy leaders who are just starting out! The Volunteer Toolkit is available through the MY GS link in the upper menu of our website, www.gsnorcal.org. w Get started now! Sign in at www.gsnorcal.org and check it out! Visit our Council Shops!
