Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach

The 2020 – 2021 season is the first as Head Football Coach for Ben Caudill, who has been teaching math for 7 years. He and his wife Alice have two sons, George (2) and Max (1). A graduate of Harding University, Coach Caudill arrived at Stewarts Creek in the fall of 2019 after serving as an assistant coach at Brentwood High School. Coach Clifton Barna

Defensive Ends Coach, Freshmen Defensive Line Coach

Coach Barna was raised in Ocala, FL and came to Tennessee as a student and athlete at Bethel University, where he ultimately earned a Master’s in Education and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame. After playing professional arena football, Barna was an assistant football coach at Bethel University. Additionally, he has coaching and teaching experience at Christian Community Schools in Nashville. He and his wife Casey are expecting their second son, Benjamin David in July and he will be a brother to Lincoln Josiah and Ellie Anne. Inside Coach, Strength Coach

Coach Ryan Bridges grew up in Michigan and after playing football and baseball in high school, attended Harding University where he played football for 4 years. His first coaching opportunity was at Mt. Pleasant High School. Married to Nicole for ten years, Coach Bridges has a daughter Vivian, and step-children, Matt and Lindsey. The 2020 – 2021 is his second season at SCHS, having previously coached at McGavock High School. Freshmen Head Coach

Coach Harris has been a teacher and coach since 1995. He and his wife, Sheri, have three children (Drew-21, McKenna-19, and Chloe-14) and a dog, Lacey. Harris holds a Bachelor's degree in Math Education from La. Tech University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Carson Newman University. In his years as a coach, he has coached almost every position on the field, both offense and . Coach Harris has been an and defensive coordinator and is currently the Head Freshman Coach. Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach

Coach McKee begins his second season as the Defensive Line Coach & Special Teams Coordinator at Stewarts Creek High School. He is a graduate of Camden Central High School, where he was also a 4-year member of the football program. Coach McKee is also a graduate of Cumberland University where he played Defensive Line and received a BA in History/Education. He began his coaching career in 2013 as the Defensive Line coach at Friendship Christian School and has coached at Mt. Juliet High School and Centennial High School. Kickers and Punters Coach

Coach Medley was raised in Lewisburg, Tennessee in Marshall County. He went on to play football for the Volunteers at the University of Tennessee and became the 2nd all-time leading scorer as a kicker. He graduated with a bachelors in Sport Management with a Business minor and currently assists kickers as a private coach since graduating. After college, Medley spent 3 years pursuing the NFL but has given up the cleats to start a career as a medical sales rep. He is most proud of the students that he has helped pursue a higher education through sports. Coach Houston Nichols

Offensive Line Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

Coach Nichols enters his first-year teaching and coaching at Stewarts Creek High School. He spent the last four years coaching football at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he served as the Offensive Quality Control Assistant for three years and a Graduate Assistant for one year. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in 2019, he is now pursuing a Master's in Education. A native of Franklin, TN, Nichols was a 2015 graduate of Christ Presbyterian Academy, where he lettered four times in baseball and football, winning state titles in both during his senior year.. He is married to his middle school sweetheart, Makenzie Nichols. Coach Steven Reese

Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Backs Coach

2020 – 2021 is the first season at SCHS for Coach Steven Reese. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, he has 8 years teaching experience in Physical Education. This season is his twelfth as coach and he has been a part of three state championship teams during his career. Coach Reese and his wife of six years, Leah, have two children: Josh and Hannah. Outside Linebackers Coach

Coach Tom Ward has been married to his wife, Susan for 42 years and they have two sons. Derek is a teacher in Colorado, and Tyler is a musician in Nashville. They also have a 6-year- old grandson, Christian. Coach Ward attended Baylor University, where he played football and graduated with a Master's in Education. He has been a Head coach of both Baseball and Football over the past 35 years in Texas, Colorado and Arizona. His greatest joy in coaching is the positive relationships that are developed with the young men he has coached. Coach Lucas Williams

Coach Williams was raised in Lawrenceburg, TN. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and played football for the Blue Raiders. Coach Williams has taught and coached football at Lavergne High, Christiana Middle, Spring Hill High, Warren County High, and McGavock High Schools. This will be his second year at Stewarts Creek High where he teaches Personal Finance. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for 22 years and they have a son, Logan, who is 13. Co-Offensive Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach, Strength Coach

Coach Henry Woodard teaches Weight Training at SCHS and the 2020 – 2021 season is his first on staff with the Red Hawks. A graduate of Tennessee Tech University and Faulkner University, Woodard has been married to his wife, Brittany, for five years. They have one son, Trip. Coach Woodard has been a coach for eight years and has experience as both a defensive and offensive coordinator, QBs, and wide receivers.
