Williams not only is Lehigh’s leading rebounder (8.7), but she also leads the entire POINTS Patriot League in steals per game with 3.0. The 6-3 sophomore has used her height and Liz Feeley (3/5/86) 37 agility to out work her opponents and steal the ball away. In Lehigh’s season opener against Lipscomb Williams recorded a career-high six steals and against St. Francis she REBOUNDS Anne Tierney (1/31/01) 21 had fi ve. Jenny Callan (12/11/05) 21 ASSISTS FILLING BIG SHOES Patty Garnish (2/3/76) 15 The Mountain Hawks graduated four key seniors that helped lead the team to the 2008- Hope Pellicane (2/17/93) 15 09 Patriot League title. Exiting are Claire Sullivan, Haley Crites, Courtney Molinaro and Melissa Rich, who will be replaced by four talented freshmen that expect to fi ght for STEALS playing time in 2009-10. Becky Guman scored more than 1,000 points in her high school Jessica Mudry (11/28/95) 10 career as a guard for Allentown Central Catholic in Allentown, Pa. Kelly Peterson scored Helga Schlape (3/5/86) 10 more than 1,600 points in her high school career as a forward for Northgate in Concord, Calif. Sarah Pearce, scored over 1,000 points in her high school career as a forward for BLOCKS Ellen Silver (1/31/84) 10 Bishop Fenwick in Franklin, Ohio. The fi nal newcomer, Marybeth Egan from Cicero- North High School in Syracuse, N.Y. scored over 1,000 career points and was First Team FG MADE All-League for three seasons. Jessica DePalo (3/5/05) 29 With all of the success the women’s basketball team had in 2008-09 there was one thing that wasn’t accomplished and that was no player recorded a double-double. This season FG% is a different story as two Mountain Hawks have already earned a double-double in only Adrienne Blount (11/20/05) .875 six games.
