BIO Leslie Grubler, MA, CCC-SLP Leslie Grubler is the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Services at Lehman College CUNY, a pediatric SLP, and family and child advocate with experience in treatment and administration through 21 years of practice. Formerly, a Master Teacher and mentor to undergraduate and graduate students at Queens College and Molloy College, Leslie's areas of expertise include advocacy for families and their children, speech/language intervention of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Intervention, and Clinician and Clinical Educator Development. As an advocate for children and their families, Leslie has coordinated rallies at City Hall in NYC, the NYS Capitol in Albany, met with local, state, and federal representatives and has been invited to speak to the NYS Joint Budget Legislative Committee on Health in the matter of Early Intervention. For the last four years, as the mentor of the NSSLHA Lehman College Chapter, Leslie has enabled the initiation of Proclamations at the local level and Resolutions at the state level recognizing the necessity and importance of Early Intervention, Autism Awareness, and Literacy in the Bronx, New York.

Formerly the ASHA SLP Advisory Councilmember for NYS, Leslie is presently an Advisory Board member of New York Families for Autistic Children (NYFAC), and contributor to two books: • Working with Someone Who Has Autism by Andrew Baumann, James Ball, and Leslie Grubler, 2010 • Everyday Solutions: A Practical Guide for Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Contributor, 2003
