ROLE OUTLINE The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) is seeking a dynamic Data Analyst participate in psychometric operations including data preparation, data validation, data review, test form assembly, test form assignment, item and test analysis, key validation, scoring, score reporting, standard setting, and blueprinting, for the NBOME examinations. LOCATION: CHICAGO OFFICE DEPARTMENT: LICENSURE ASSESSMENT SERVICES

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS  Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Psychology, Educational , , , Mathematics or Science required; Master’s degree preferred.  2 – 3 years of experience conducting statistical or psychometric analyses.  Experience with large-scale, complex examination programs preferred.  3+ years’ experience as an analyst related to psychological and/or educational testing a plus.  and experience of using SAS or R to retrieve, clean, manage and parse data; run routine and non- routine analyses for scoring and statistical reporting; generate reports, tables, and figures.  Background in applying Classical Test Theory and to large scale testing programs.  Foundational knowledge of statistics and experience of basic psychometric analysis required.  Proven ability to analyze and solve measurement problems in testing operations.  Experience in designing, conducting, summarizing and presenting psychometric studies a plus.  Superior attention to detail.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Strong analytic and programming skill e.g., SAS and R, and Psychometrics package, WINSTEPS.  Knowledge and experience with SQL is plus.
