Machined from solid steel alloy forgings for durability, the receiver' tight tolerance ensures gun does not fall open when loading and reloading. Top mounted locking lug design allows for a lower profile receiver for perfect barrel alignment with hand and eye, aiding instinctive mount, swing and follow through. This unique Beretta design improves ergonomics, reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise and ES100 REALTREE HARDWOODS HD makes the shotgun a true extension of the shooter. The conical wedge locking lugs are self-adjusting, increasing in tightness of shotguns the closure with every round. Low profile box lock design allows Beretta's 12 gauge over-and- under receiver to be as compact and light as many competitor's 20 gauge receivers. One-piece, spring-loaded, ejectors have fewer moving parts to ensure simplicity of operation and allow slimmer fore-end design that doesn't interfere with instinctive grip or hand-eye coordination. Hammer forged steel, chrome lined, ultra-concentric barrels combine effortless balance, strength and resistance to corrosion and residue build-up. Bore and chamber are chrome lined for durability. Barrels can be interchanged, easily and economically, between gauges to maximize versatility. No other manufacturer offers this value. Minimal and easy maintenance. Between then and now and tomorrow. , It s an understanding that is pure and real. This is the passion that drives Beretta. It,s in our genes. , It lives in the deepest reaches of the hunter s heart. And so, too, is it in our hearts. It,s why we exist. , The innermost corners of the shooter s soul. And it,s why we have endured for nearly 500 years. And it is everywhere. Because of one purpose. • Sako Export 2013.Pdf
2013 Sako history begins when the company was founded in the early 1920´s. Sako has come a long way from nearly total hand manufacturing to todays computer aided R&D and CNC manufacturing. Nevertheless we have not forgotten the value of traditional gunsmithing. That’s why we still do some critical areas by hand. A good example of this is our inspection of each barrel visually and then shooting it manually for proof and accuracy. All our rifles comply with CIP and SAAMI requirements. At the turn of the millenium, Sako became an honored member of the Beretta Group. Sako gained access to new and refined production methods, which in turn enabled us to intensify our product development. The Sako model 85 was developed, based on the vast experience gained from the success of its predecessors. Our Sako 85 rifles have the worlds most advanced turnbolt action in 6 different action sizes. For the hunter this means tailor made and specific purpose rifles in each selected caliber. Further, the model A7 was developed to give hunters access to a medium priced Sako rifle. Not sacrificing first class workmanship or accuracy, but by optimizing the available action sizes and parts. We also manufacture the Sako Quad series, the world´s first rimfire bolt-action rifle with interchangeable barrels. This is the all-in-one rimfire package, for the serious rimmfire enthusiast. Sako also produces the well-known Tikka T3 rifle series. Aimed at the entry-level hunter, but loaded with the expected Sako quality and performance, its model range is so extensive that it is presented in its own catalogue.

  • Italy's Contribution to the Mexican Powder
Italy’s contribution to the Mexican powder keg Most small arms and light weapons imported into Mexico come from the United States, but most of the rest are manufactured in Italy. In the last twelve years, Italy has been the second largest exporter of non-military guns, rifles and ammunition in Mexico, far ahead of other important exporters such as the Czech Republic, Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, South Korea, and Israel. On average, Italian companies have sold and shipped ten thousand pistols and revolvers and 1,100 rifles to the Mexican market every year for the past twelve years. Many Italian ‘civilian weapons’ have been also sold to Colombia and Guatemala, probably feeding the grey and black market. In the same period of 2007-2018, Mexico has been the second largest Latin American customer of military weapons produced in Italy, after Brazil. Apart from major weapons systems produced by Leonardo, Beretta group dominates Italian military exports to Mexico: in the same twelve-year period, it sold at least 50 million euros worth of weapons (data is in round figures because Italian government reports on military exports are tricky to interpret). What did the Beretta group sell to Mexican armed forces? - More than 17,150 SCP 70/90 automatic assault - 303 Sako TRG 22 sniper rifles; rifles (5.56x45 NATO caliber), and 23,000 spare parts for these rifles, in particular ammunition - 3,030 guns (40 caliber); magazines of 30 rounds, since the rifle can fire - 505 rifles (22LR caliber); 670 rounds per minute at a distance of up to 300 meters; - 505 guns (22LR caliber); - More than 19,000 ARX 160 assault rifles - 13,130 guns (9x19 mm caliber); (5.56x45 NATO caliber) and 16,000 spare parts; - 2,020 guns (9 caliber short or .380 auto); - 650 GLX 160 grenade launchers, adaptable to - 1,010 Stoeger rifles (12 caliber).
