Tier 2: 6th-15th ranked golfers in the field. Tier 3: 16th-25th ranked golfers in the field. Tier 4: 26th-50th ranked golfers in the field. Tier 5: Rest of the field. Tier 6. Entire field. This Junior Golf Tour is designed to develop Junior Golfers for the next level in golf, in preparation for the High School Golf, and competitive Junior Golf Associations. Mission The Wampanoag Junior Golf Tour Series` main mission is to entice and appeal junior golfers to be more involved in weekly club sanctioned events at a competitive level. Developing young athletes drive is key to success on and off the golf course. Rules Players must compete in a minimum of 3 Junior Tour events to be eligible for the Player of the Year title, Low Scoring Average and Most Consistent Player. If a player does not play 3 Junior Tour Events or more they will not be eligible to participate in the Grand Slam of Golf. Players accumulate points by their finish in each event throughout the year. The Junior Tour Series begins with the Spring Warm Up Challenge on April 16th and ends with the Grand Slam of Golf on September 3rd. ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE HELD ON SATURDAYS.
