It all started in 1958, when the company’s founder Helmut Brunner senior developed the first iris diaphragm. He was a pioneer, an inventor and one of the biggest names in sight design.
Today, we are a state-of-the-art manufacturer that uses cutting-edge CNC and laser equipment to produce high- precision parts. Precision and quality are our guiding principles.
One of the ways we achieve our high quality standards is by staying in full control of the production process for all parts. We manufacture well over 90 percent of our products in-house, with the exception of standard components such as lenses. Assembly is still carried out by hand – and our greatest asset is certainly our team, which is made up of people with a genuine passion for their work. Squaring the circle – newly developed front sight tunnel made of transparent plastic with a rectangular end face.
The shape matches the frame on most electronic scoring target systems. Shooters can thus intuitively assess their canting angle and how to correct it. The cube can also be pivoted, meaning it can be adjusted to the shooter’s personal canting angle. What’s more, it can also be moved to the side to shift the sighting line.

LITERATURE AND MORE
In terms of technique and technology, shooting is one of the most complex sports. It takes years and decades to get to grips with all the details of shooting position, aiming and the trigger release. However, shooters can considerably reduce this time by getting access to the right information structured in the right way. And that’s where an instructional book is still the best solution.
We have been designing and producing instructional books for shooters for 30 years. We currently have 6 German-language titles in publication that cover a range of topics such as air rifle shooting, smallbore shooting and the psychological aspects of shooting (and golf). A growing number of our books are also being translated into English and other languages. For example, hot off the press is our latest edition of “Air Rifle Shooting” – now published under the title “Air Rifle – Training and Competition”.
Instructional posters are another method used to provide information quickly and concisely. Designing and producing a good instructional poster is a particularly challenging task. It has to present all the relevant information in a very limited space. Most important are clear pictures and drawings that provide a clear depiction of the main points at a glance. The pictures are accompanied by short texts that explain further details. Finally, the poster needs to work as one cohesive piece, so that it looks good on the wall at the club.
