27 of May 2020 A collection of 78 hotels in seven governorates have received the “Hygiene Safety” certificate for operation. Along the last two weeks, a collection of 78 hotels and resorts in South Sinai, Red Sea, Alexandria, Suez, Great Cairo, Qena and Luxor governorates, have received the Hygiene Safety certificate after fulfilling the regulation made by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and approved by the cabinet in accordance with the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). Now, these hotels and resorts received the certificate after being subjected to inspection carried out by specialized committee from the ministries of Tourism and Antiquities, Health and Population, the Egyptian Hotels Association and representatives from the concerned governorates. Now, they are able to receive guests.
More hotels in these governorates and others will be inspected for operation. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities calls on citizens and tourism companies to restrict dealing to hotels that have obtained a health safety certificate, and not any others.
