Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong

Founded in 2003, Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong(MYO) is a registered chari- ty and one of the finest youth orchestras in Asia. Under the leadership of Synthia Ko, our artistic director and chief conductor, together with our junior orchestra conductor, Chris Cheung; MYO consists of 6 orchestras in 4 levels with over 300 young musicians. MYO brings excellent music performances with world’s finest musicians and conducts numerous flash mob performance around Hong Kong, winning its international recognition. 2019 Germany Summer Music Tour Music Excellence with A Soul has always been MYO’s motto. MYO strives to explore the limitless possibilities and serve our community through music. Besides working with world’s finest musicians and conductors, the orchestra has shared stage with inspiring mu- sical figures including 4-finger pianist Lee Hee-Ah (Korea), limbless life warrior Nick Vujicic, one-handed violinist Adrian Anantawan (Canada), Watoto Choir (Uganda), and Chamber Music Felix Klieser (Germany).

MYO has a long tradition of going overseas for music training, performance and exchange Performance every summer since 2005. As of today, the tour footprints area found over 14 cities around the world.

Joseph Koo, Lo Ta-tu The Pearl of Orient Below the Lion Rock HILSBERG Inga (arr. Yin Ng) Inga Hilsberg is principal conductor of Kölner Symphoniker, Kammeroper Köln and Deutschen Musical Company since 2007. Since 2004, she was hired as second Kapellmeisterin and Studienleiterin at the Theater Nordhausen. Leonard Mozart Toy Symphony Right after the study in Köln (Cologne), she worked as conductor at the Disney musical production "Beauty and the Beast" in Stuttgart, as substitute principal conductor at the Musical "Phantom of the Opera" and Musical "Mozart". After Brandenburg Concerto No.3 that, she worked as second "Kapellmeister" and "Studienleiterin "at the Main- (arr. Merle J. Isaac) Moderato franken Theater Würzburg.

Diverse engagement let her conducts in numerous famous concert venues, Claude Debussy Le Petit Nègre such as Bregenzer Festspielen, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Mecklenburgische (arr. And concert tours in England, Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy, USA, Allegro & Menuett in G Major for 2 Flutes China and Japan. She also worked together with well-known artists such as Endrik Wottrich, KS Hans Sotin, KS Kurt Moll, KS Edda Moser, also groups like WDR (West Germany Radio) Choir, Bergischen Symphonikern, Kon- Anonymous Two étude for Trumpets No. 32 and 33 zerthaus Orchester Berlin, WDR Radio Orchestra, Radio Symphonie Orches- ter Pilsen. She also participates the most successful female German pop singer, Helena Fischer’s Christmas Show in 2016, 2017 and 2018, as conductor of the Flute Quartet No. 29 Kölner Symphoniker.
