ORDER

Sri Gopa Sainath has filed 2nd appeal dated 16-04-2018 which was received by this Commission on 16-04-2018 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/ Deputy Tahsildar, Tanoor Mandal, Nirmal District and 1st Appellate Authority / the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bhainsa Division, Nirmal District.

The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 01-08-2017 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application:

Since the appellant did not receive the information from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 03-01-2018 before the 1st Appellate Authority requesting him to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005.

Stating that he did not received any information, he filed 2nd appeal before this Commission requesting to take action against the Public Information Officer and First Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him.

Basing on the material papers available on record, the appeal is taken on file and notices were sent to the parties concerned directing them to appear before this Commission for hearing on 24-09-2018 at Hyderabad. (P.T.O) -2-

The case is called on 24-09-2018. The appellant is present and stated that complete information was not furnished.

The Public Information Officer/Sri M. Lacharam, the Deputy Tahsildar, Tanoor mandal is present and stated that the information sought by the appellant was furnished on 20-8-2017 duly enclosing the Collector proceedings dated 7-10-2014.

The appellant through appeal dated 16-4-2018 stated that the information provided by the Public Information Officer is not covering the information sought.

Hence, in view of the complaint made by the appellant the Public Information Officer is directed to keep the related records for verification of the appellant on the fixed, date & time and venue and submit compliance report about inspection of records by the appellant within (30) days of receipt of this Commission under copy to the appellant.
