COUNTRY TRIBUTE DRAWS FANS TO HHT

On Friday August 23rd, the Historic Hemet Theatre hosted band, YOUNG GUNS with a tribute to the superstars of . The group played music from every era of country music from Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to Georgia" thru the years of , , Florida Georgia Line and more.

Lead Singer Eric Sage did a masterful job of pulling the crowd to their feet, filling the dance floor with two-stepping, boot-scootin' fans across the generations. The playing of Melissa Barrison stunned the crowd as she worked her way down to the dance floor, spinning in circles while playing at a dizzying pace.

The Friday night crowd was lighter than HHT fans have come to expect, but the enthusiasm was loud all night, with band members and fans alike screaming for an encore. For a close-up look at the action, check out the photos and videos on the Facebook page of the Historic Hemet Theatre

The concert was the latest in the "Friday Nite Live" concert series that focuses on country music tributes. The series continues next month with tributes to Brooks & Dunn (9/20), Roy Orbison (10/4), Reba McEntire (11/8) and (12/13).

Meanwhile, Season Three of the Tribute Mania Concert Series continues with tributes to The Beach Boys (9/14), The Eagles (9/28), The Beatles (10/12), Buddy Holly & the Legends of Rock & Roll (10/26), Huey Lewis & the News (11/2), The Brothers (11/23), and Styx (12/7).
