Il Premio, presieduto da Bruno Pizzul, si avvale del contributo dell’Amministrazione Comunale e dell’appassionato impegno dei componenti il Comitato Promotore, i quali comprendono prestigiosi nomi di aziende, imprenditori, commercianti e professionisti. Obiettivo del premio non è solo quello di offrire un riconoscimento ai campioni dello sport, ma anche quello di evidenziare il troppo spesso oscuro lavoro di quegli atleti che, pur non praticando una disciplina sportiva popolare, hanno dedicato la loro vita e il loro entusiasmo agli sport minori, nobilitandone il ruolo e favorendone la diffusione. Il «Torretta» non si ferma allo sport perché premia, inoltre, persone che si sono distinte nella cultura, nelle professioni, nella solidarietà, per la qualità, la creatività, la capacità innovativa, l’umanità e il senso civico della loro opera. Anche per questo la manifestazione ha avuto ampi riconoscimenti a tutti i livelli istituzionali, a partire dalla Presidenza della Repubblica. Nell’ambito della manifestazione verrà assegnato il Trofeo «Atleta dell’Anno», in collaborazione con Telelombardia, Antenna 3.

    Rudergesellschaft Wiking e.V. Berlin Ausgabe: 03 – 2020 S e i t e | 2 Meine lieben WIKINGER erneut geht ein vielschichtiges Jahr mit unterschiedlichsten Fa- cetten seinem Ende entgegen. Das Jahr 2020 entpuppte sich als ein Jahr großer Herausforderungen auf vielen Ebenen. Ge- prägt wurde das Jahr durch großartige sportliche Erfolge und trotz der Corona bedingten Einschränkungen auch durch schöne, kleine Veranstaltungen. Eine weitere Angelegenheit, die uns viel beschäftigte, war Vorsitzende Der das Lösen von unserem langjährigen Trainer. Da es hierzu leider gar keine Alternative gab, ist es mir ein besonderes An- liegen, mich an dieser Stelle (wie schon in 2019) ganz beson- ders bei Jan Bredemeyer und Martin Hasse zu bedanken, die schon wieder Feuerwehr spielten (sie taten dies sehr ernsthaft und absolut professionell!) und zusammen mit Daniel Haack, Lukas Oldach sowie Jonas Platte, das Renntraining auf meisterlichem Niveau durchführten. Danken möchte ich auch unseren vier Top-Ausbildern im Erwachsenenbereich Dirk Thieslack, Christian Schulze, Uwe Grünberg und Christian Mehner, die es trotz der gar nicht einfachen, von Corona bestimmten besonderen Umstände diesen Jahres verstanden haben, alle Leute bei Laune zu halten und damit der Mitgliedschaft großen Halt gegeben haben! So ist uns insgesamt auch im Jahr 2020 trotz widriger Umstände wieder vieles gelungen. Dazu zählt neben dem sportlichen und gesellschaftlichen Erfolg eben auch, unsere Immobilie und unse- ren Bootspark in Schuss zu halten. Zu diesem Erfolg haben unsere Ressortleiter großen persönli- chen Einsatz gezeigt und z.T. unter Mithilfe weniger Anderer ganz hervorragend agiert. Aber auch baulich sind wir vorangekommen. Hier sind vor allem die Damenumkleide und die Vollendung des Stegneubaus mit Abgang, Elektroanschluss und Motorbootkran zu nennen.
