RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES FOR 2013

(a) Initiative: Internship Program

Rome Radio Partners, LLC (the “Licensee”) offers internships in all departments at its radio stations, with an emphasis in the programming department. The internships continue throughout the year and are offered for semester-long periods. The interns are recruited from a variety of sources, including Berry College, Shorter College, Georgia Highlands, Georgia Northwestern Technical College, and Jacksonville State University. Most interns are college students and receive college credit for the internships. Station personnel oversee the interns and evaluate their performance. All interns receive training and exposure to the skills necessary to have a successful career in the broadcast industry.

(b) Initiative : Co-host Job Fair

On November 14, 2013, the Licensee co-hosted a regional job fair in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Labor. Cheryl Scott served on the board of the job fair. The job fair was attended by over 800 applicants. The General Manager, CEO, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Promotions Manager and Human Resource Manager attended the job fair offering jobs in marketing, on-air and in traffic. Resources were available to train people how to interview and write resumes. The Licensee set up a booth and passed out information during the entire job fair and interviewed candidates for Sales, Web Design, on-air positions and Promotions. c) Initiatives: Career and Internship Job Fair

The Licensee attended the annual Career and Internship Job Fair at Berry College on February 19, 2013. All upper management attended this job fair and talked to college students and graduates about full-time and part-time opportunities as well as internships. As a result of participating in this job fair, we established programs with area colleges and employed interns in on-air positions. d) Initiatives : Staff Training

The Licensee has a human resource attorney on retainer that speaks with Cheryl Scott weekly and with other management staff two or three times per month on Human Resource issues and advised them with respect to promotions within the company, how to assess employee skills, hiring opportunities, EEO, and time management. Our human resource attorney has coached employees on their employment skills to enhance their management skills. As a result, we have been successful in promoting part-time employees to full-time positions, and promoting full-time employees to better positions to take advantage of the skills they already possess. e) Initiatives: On-Going Community Involvement

The Licensee’s General Manager and Co-owner, Randall Quick, serves on the board of Georgia Highland College. One of the purposes of this college and its foundation is to make college more

EEO LOCAL PUBLIC FILE ANNUAL REPORT PAGE 9 OF 11 affordable to students. The foundation helps award scholarships to students and assists them with obtaining financial aid. Mr. Quick also participates in mock interviews held at Pepperell High School which are designed to assist students prepare for the work force.

In his capacity as General Manager of the Licensee, Mr. Quick also serves on the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce (where he is a former President) and on the boards of the Bartow and Polk County Chambers of Commerce.

The Licensee’s Co-Owner and Human Resource Manager, Cheryl Scott, regularly attends the monthly meetings of the Greater Rome Society of Human Resource Management, which routinely has presentations on Human Resource issues presented by attorneys and other speakers in the Human Resource field. Ms. Scott previously served as President and membership chair for that organization.

In addition to the on-going involvement in the community by its management, the Licensee has made presentations on Career Day at area middle schools, made its stations available for tours by students in the local communities, and Tony McIntosh, who was Sales Manager in 2012 and 2013, taught a radio class to Boy Scouts in Floyd County (which is within the service area of the stations) the last weekend of January both years. As a result, the Licensee has had the opportunity to help with the economic growth of the communities in which its stations are located and help ensure that all students are given an opportunity for a better education and ensure they get the skills to join the workforce after they have completed their education.
