I Kasabian, indie rock band da oltre 5 milioni di copie vendute, dopo lo straordinario show tenuto a novembre al Mediolanum Forum di Milano, tornano in Italia per 5 imperdibili concerti estivi. L’unica data nel Nordest delgruppo capitanato da Serge Pizzorno e Tom Meighan, sarà domani, mercoledì 18 luglioall’Arena Alpe Adria di Lignano Sabbiadoro. I biglietti per l’evento, organizzato da Città di Lignano Sabbiadoro e Zenit srl, in collaborazione con la Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia ePromoTurismoFVG, sono ancora in vendita e lo saranno anche domani alla biglietteria del concerto, dalle 18.30, porte aperte alle 19.30. Ad aprire il concerto sarà Lilian More, poliedrica cantante milanese dall’anima pop e dalla grinta punk. La serata vedrà il suo culmine con l’esibizione dei Kasabian, al grande ritorno in Friuli Venezia Giulia a 6 anni dall’ultimo concerto tenuto nel 2012 a Tarvisio. “Ho deciso di dare a me stesso sei settimane per scrivere un album come si usava fare in passato, che fosse veramente ispirato. Volevo essere sicuro che non ci fosse niente di più, di modo che le canzoni potessero diventare dei classici. Nessun autocompiacimento, niente fronzoli. Ho sentito Berry Gordy (famoso produttore e autore, fondatore della Motown) dire che se un pezzo non ti arriva nelle prime 4 battute allora è finita, così mi sono buttato a lavorare con questa classica attitudine old-school di scrittura”. Così Serge Pizzorno ha commentato l’ultimo album “Crying Out Loud”, pubblicato a maggio 2017, subito certificato disco d’oro in UK. “You’re In Love With A Psycho”, primo singolo estratto da questo lavoro, è stata una delle hit radiofoniche dell’anno, totalizzando più di 8 milioni di views su Youtube e più di 23 milioni di ascolti su Spotify. Dopo aver calcato tutti i più prestigiosi palchi internazionali ed essere stati headliner di alcuni dei festival più importanti d’Europa, i Kasabian, una delle band inglesi più amate di tutti i tempi, tornano in Italia per un entusiasmante tour estivo. Gruppo musicale indie rock britannico formatosi nel 1997 a Leicester, attualmente fra le band che godono di più seguito e prestigio del panorama rock internazionale. Il loro primo disco, omonimo, esce nel 2004, ottenendo un ottimo successo di pubblico e critica che porta la band in tour in tutta Europa, dove il loro stile a metà tra il rock anni sessanta/settanta e l’elettronica da rave party fa di loro una delle principali band emergenti di quell’anno. Il loro secondo album, “Empire”, esce nel 2006 e segna una svolta verso sonorità più alla moda, anche se l’influenza di gruppi come i Led Zeppelin risulta evidente, specialmente in canzoni come il singolo “Shoot the Runner”. Nel 2009 la band pubblica il più sperimentale e acustico “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum”, trascinato dal singolo di successo “Fire”. Nel 2011 viene pubblicato il quarto album “Velociraptor!”, con il quale la band ottiene un grande successo anche al di fuori del Regno Unito. Nel 2014 viene pubblicato il quinto album in studio “48:13”. Del 2017 è invece l’ultimo album in studio “For Crying Out Loud”. La band può vantare il record di 9 nomination ottenute in una sola edizione degli NME Awards e una serie di quattro album di inediti di fila al primo posto nella UK Albums Chart. E.L..
