Method of Play The Championship is scheduled to be a 72-hole stroke play event, with 18 holes played per day. For the 2020 PPC only, NO CADDIES are allowed and it is mandatory for players to use a car (only one player allowed per car).

Field Size The initial field will be 312 players, consisting of top finishers from the 2019 Section PGA Professional Championships and exempt players (provided they meet all eligibility criteria): Exemptions: • Eligible (former) Champions of the PGA Professional Championship; • Top twenty finishers, plus ties, from the 2019 PGA Professional Championship; • All players making the cut in the 2019 PGA Championship; • 2019 PGA Cup Team and 2019 Women’s PGA Cup Team players (not already eligible); • 2019 Senior PGA Professional Champion; • 2019 Assistant PGA Professional Champion; • 2019 PGA Professional Player of the Year; • 2019 Senior PGA Professional Player of the Year; • 2019 Women’s PGA Professional Player of the Year; • 2020 PGA Winter Championships Stroke Play Top 2 Finishers (not already eligible)

Cut The field will be reduced to the low 90 players plus ties after the completion of 36* holes. After the completion of 54 holes, the field will be reduced to the low 70 players and ties for the final round.

Prize Money The total purse is $675,000, with the Champion receiving $60,000. Every player returning a 54-hole scorecard will share in the purse.

8-Tournament Rule List To be eligible for the 2020 PGA Professional Championship, contestants must not have played in more than eight (8) combined regulated Professional Tours listed: Adams Pro Tour (APT), , Dakotas Tour, European , , European Tour, JPGA Senior Tour, JPGA Tour, (formerly web.com TOUR), Ladies European Tour (LET), (LPGA), LPGA Tour, Mackenzie Tour - , PGA Tours, PGA Tours, PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, PGA TOUR , PGA TOUR LatinoAmerica, SwingThought Tour, The Safari Tour and The tournaments between June 24, 2019 and June 23, 2020. The U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open, U.S. Women’s Open, PGA Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Championship are not included in the 8-tournament count.

Additional Playing Opportunities The following additional benefits are subject to change at any time. Players will forfeit the following benefits earned through their PGA Professional Championship performance if they fail to meet eligibility criteria/ dates for any specific event listed. Women playing from the forward tees shall not be eligible to earn playing privileges in the PGA Championship and tournaments co-sponsored or approved by the European Tour, PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, or the web.com TOUR. Prior to playing at the Section level, women must declare which tees they will be playing.

All participants: All participants that play in the 2020 PGA Professional Championship are exempted into the First Qualifying Stage of the Korn Ferry TOUR, providing an entry is filed by the deadline.

Top 20: The Top 20 finishers will earn an exemption into the 2020 PGA Championship played at Harding Park Golf Club, San Francisco, California, during the week of August 3-9, 2020.

The Top 20 finishers, including ties, will be exempted into the 2021 PGA Professional Championship played at PGA Golf Club, Port St. Lucie, Florida, during the week of April 22-28, 2021.

Top 10: The Top 10 finishers, including ties, will be exempted into Final Qualifying for the 2021 Open Championship, providing an entry is filed by the deadline.

Top 5: The Top 5 eligible finishers, including ties to a floor of 10th position, will be exempted into the Second Qualifying Stage of the Korn Ferry TOUR, providing an entry is filed by the deadline.

1st Place: The Champion will receive the following benefits:  Exemption into PGA Professional Championships, until Champion reaches 60 years of age or for a minimum of 10 years after victory, whichever is the later, provided eligibility requirements are maintained.  Exemption into a maximum of six PGA TOUR open tournaments, beginning after the PGA in the fall of the current year through the first FedEx Cup event the following year, in addition to any sponsor exemptions (subject to availability and PGA TOUR approval). Three of these must be open tournaments held opposite and .  Exemption from Local Qualifying (only) for the 2021 U.S. Open, provided an entry is filed by the deadline.  Exemption into the 2020 Senior PGA Professional Championship, provided eligibility requirements are met.

2021 PGA Cup: The 2021 PGA Cup Team will be determined by the top 10 points leaders from the PGA Cup Points System, following the 2021 PGA Championship.
