(406) 243-2522 MISSOULA •••• Two teams \-lith three game losing streaks; the University of Hontana Grizzlies and the University of Washington Huskies, collide in Missoula Saturday in the first coaching meeting between UM coach Jud Heathcote and his former employer Marv Harshman. Heathcote was an assistant to Harshman at Washington State before coming to the University of Montana. At WSU Heathcote served as freshman coach and as varsity assistant. The Huskies, who were rated in the top 20 nationally earlier in the season, have lost five of their last six games and bring an 8-6 record into Saturday's contest. Montana is 7-7 for the season. Louie Nelson, a three year starter at guard, leads Washington and the Pacifie-S in overall scoring with a 22.5 average. The 6-2~ senior is connecting on close to SO per cent of his field goal attempts. Forwards Reggie Ball and Ray Price are also scorins in double figures for UW. Price, a 6-6~ junior, is averaging 15.1 points and Ball, a 6 .. :· senior, is averaging 11.2 points. Washington's other starters are 6-2 Ron Williams ~· guard and 6-11 Lars Hansen at center. Hansen and UM center Ken McKenzie \vere teammates on the Canadian National B team that toured Asia last summer. Mike Murray continues to lead Montana in scoring through 14 games. He is averaging 18.4 points after a subpar 13 point performance in the Grizzlies 70-65 loss to Montana State Tuesday night. McKenzie, Nho had one of his better games with 22 points and 11 rebounds against Montana State, is the second-leading scorer with a 13.3 average and the leading rebounder with a 9.4 average. The UM Cubs play at 5:30 Saturday evening against Malmstrom Air Fdrce base as the preliminary to the 7:30 varsity contest. The cubs are 4-4 on the season. ### .
