Their replacements on local services were various Olympians from the Reserve fleet, with 16099 (R207 XNO) being drafted in from Cheltenham & Gloucester (GL) for use at Cheltenham. Tridents 18082/4 have had „Stagecoach West in Partnership with University of Gloucestershire‟ branding added between decks, for use on Service 94U. General 20201 (T701 TLD) arrived on 10/10/10 and is an extra spare for RailAir operations, and possibly rail replacement work which the coaches seem to do occasionally. 32348 (LK 53 LZL) finally reached Bracknell c6/10/10, but has still to enter service as at 1/11/10. Red Dart 41299 (T299 JLD) was still in use at Slough depot in 10/10. The adverts on 60164 are similar to those carried by 42415 now in reserve. Reading Transport has announced that operation of Vitality route 1 Reading - Newbury is to be contracted out to Newbury and District (Weavaway) from 29/11/10. The route will continue to be operated as part of the Reading Transport network and buses will retain Reading Transport livery. The contract is in two phases, four buses starting from 29/11/10 and a further four buses at the end of 1/11. Initially, Sca Wt Solars from the batch 1001-8 will be leased to Newbury and District as required. Vitality route 11 Newbury - Thatcham local has been de-registered from 29/11/10. The Company was successful in winning funding for a further bus under the Government‟s Green Bus Fund - this will be a midibus, but no final decision has been taken as to what model it will be.
