Vincenzo Migliaro (Naples, 8 October 1858 - Naples, 16 March 1938) was an Italian painter, sculptor and engraver of the Neapolitan school. After learning the art of carving at the courses of the Neapolitan Central Workers' Society and having attended the study of Stanislao Lista, he enrolled in 1875 at the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples and trained under the guidance of . In 1877 he made a short trip to Paris, where he stopped to study the works exhibited at the Louvre Museum. However, Naples, with its lively popular life, is the main source of inspiration for the artist: the works with which he participates in national exhibitions - such as those of Turin, from 1880, [1] from 1884 and 1898 - and from international ones ( like that of , where in 1911 he obtained the silver medal) sanctioning his reputation as a careful observer and investigator of the Neapolitan reality. He contributes with other painters, including Vincenzo Irolli and Vincenzo La Bella, to decorate the rooms of Caffè Gambrinus. He participates in the international art biennials of Venice, from 1901 to 1928. In 1927 he exhibits at the Pesaro Gallery in , together with and ? they are all Neapolitan artists. Beautiful oil painting on canvas 70 x 60 cm depicting Porta Capuana Napoli signed lower right.The work was exhibited in 2019 at the Diotti Museum in Casalmeggiore during an exhibition of important paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries.
