Hulk hogan was famous during the late 70s, 80s and early 90s. However recently he fell flat on his face. He admitted to using some racist words towards his daughters boyfriend. And he had his sex tape leaked which he later sued the person that leaked it and won 64 million dollars. John Cena is another very famous wrestle, but he still wrestles today and he has wrestled since the year 2000. Unlike Hulk Hogan John cena has a rather good reputation being the celebrity that has done the most B.A.STAR wishes. B.A.STAR is a foundation where kids that are very sick can request to meet their favorite celebrity, John cena has done 500 of these meetings. Shawn Michaels is known as the best wrestler to ever have wrestled a match. He had long career wrestling actively since 1984 and retired at Wrestlemania 2010. Shawn has had a very mixed career with some bad moments, but his amazing matches makes up for his mistakes. The most one of his most famous missteps has to be when he posed for Playgirl.

The pay-per-views Every months there's at least one pay-per-view a month. The pay-per-views are special shows where the champions put their title on the line, and wrestle the number one contender. The pay-per- views usually have a special theme or gimmick.

Wrestlemania is the biggest pay-per-view of the year, and is wrestlings version of the Super Bowl. This year is Wrestlemania number 33 and is in Orlando Florida on the second of April. The President of United States is the overall leader, but he has a council that will help him and give advise that council is DoD.(Department of Defence) The President is the one with all the power. The people working under the president can decide certain things, but big ac- tions like war is up the president.

Budget

The US Army has a budget of 664 billion dollars. Every year they use about 580 billion dollars. That is almost triple the amount of EU military budget. In NOK it is 554 910 244 800 kr. If NASA had the same budget theoretically we could be on Mars. They get 136 billion dollars... In 13 years. That's about 10 billion a year.

In WW2 they used over 1,000 billion dollars. And in WW1 they used less than 200 billion dollars, that is less than there budget now. Russia has the second most powerful military and has a budget of about 47 billion dollars.

Weapons and soldiers

There are 1 400 000 active frontline personal and 1 100 000 backup. About 210 000 of them are females. From 1776 to September 2012 about 40 million people served in the army. They also have 6,800 nuclear warheads. And they have about 800 military bases in foreign countries.

Five-Star Ranking

A five star ranking is a very normal military ranking that The United States started using in 1944. In USA there are ten officers that have all of the five stars. Four held by Fleet admi- rals, five held by the generals of the army and one held by the general of the Air Force.

Fleet admiral is a five-star Admiral officer rank in the United States Navy. Fleet admiral ranks immediately above admiral (Admiral is a four star raking) and is equivalent to General of the Army and General of the Air Force. The general of the army is a five-star general officer rank in the United States Army. A General of the Army ranks immediately above a general (General is a four star ranking) and is equivalent to a fleet admiral and a General of the Air Force. The general of the Air Force is a five-star general officer rank and is the highest possible rank in the United States Air Force. The General of the Air Force ranks immediately above a general (general is a four star ranking) and is equivalent to General of the Army in the United States Army and Fleet Admiral in the United States Navy. The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is, as you can tell by the name, a canyon. It's located in the United states, and is a very popular tourist attraction. The canyon has been there for around six million years, and is located in Arizona in the U.S.

Landscape The landscape in and around The Grand Canyon is very desert like, and is also filled with rocks and cliffs. The Grand Canyon itself is a huge solid rock, with a canyon going trough the middle. At the bottom of the canyon, lies the famous river Colorado river. The Colorado river is also a popular tourist attraction, and you can go rafting in it. The peak of Grand Canyon lies 2100 meters above sea level, and the view is fantastic.

Activities

As mentioned above, you can go rafting in the Colorado river, but there are also a lot of other activities. You can go skydiving, hiking, running, and you can even get a helicopter tour of the canyon, but that tour is obviously pricy. A very cool, but less known activity at the Grand Canyon, is bungee Experience the many activities and have a grand day. jumping. A bridge has been built there just for the bungee jumping activity, and the way down to the ground is crazy. With the amazing view, all the activities and the unique landscape, it’s no wonder the Grand Canyon is such a big tourist attraction.

Tourism Being able to keep all the activities mentioned above going requires money. Without the insane number of tourists who visit the Grand Canyon every year, there wouldn’t be any activities or places to stay at the canyon. Every year, around 40 000 people sleep in tents overnight during the season, and the owners of the camp sites haul in tons and tons of money to keep it going.

One of the most visited places in the canyon is the Skywalk. It’s a glass bottom “balcony” that sticks out from the front of the Hualapai Tribe’s mini hotel.

The Canyon has a varied wildlife that is a sight to behold.

Wildlife

As the rest of the area surrounding the Grand Canyon, the canyon itself is also rich with wildlife, but sadly not as rich as it was before we humans came and started building there. You can find all sorts of fish in the Colorado river, and you can also go fishing in some of the lakes connected with the river, where fish like Bass are very popular. As for mammals, you can find around 34 species along the Colorado river, and some up in the canyon itself. The animals you see the most of while walking the trails in the canyon, are small rodents such as squirrels and raccoons, and birds. There are a ton of bird species in and around the canyon, and a couple of them are pretty rare, such as the California Condor, which is close to extinction. There are different species of eagles, hawks and falcons, and small birds like tits and sparrows. You can also find the worlds fastest bird there, the Peregrine Falcon. The Peregrine Falcon can reach speeds of 320 km/h during a hunting dive! As you can clearly tell, there is no shortage of wildlife in the Grand Canyon.

The Ku Klux Klan, also known as the kkk and the Klan, is a white supremacist organiza- tion that was founded in 1866.

Throughout history there have been three different klans. The first klan was founded in Tennessee in 1866. This klan was against African-Americans and white republicans and did everything in their power to be the superior group. After a long line of threats and violence, including murder, the Enforcement act tried to shoot down the organiza- tion in 1870 and succeeded.

The second klan was founded in Georgia in 1915. This klan had at it's peak 5 million members who were against African-Americans, Jews, Catholics and other immigrants. This klan faded away in the 1940s just as the 2. World War struck.

The third klan started in the 1950s in Alabama. This klan began to resist social change and blacks' efforts to improve their lives by bombing houses in transitional neighborhoods. There were so many bombings in African-American homes in Birmingham that it was called Bombingham.

In 2016 all the KKK groups were counted. The end result was 129 active groups from all over the US. All of the klans belong to different regions and have different names.

Klan glossary The ku klux klan has made their own glossary only other klan members can understand. This is their way to both greet fellow members and to warn them about dangers, like police officers. Some examples to these secret words are:

AYAK?: A password meaning "Are You a Klansman?"

KIGY!: A password meaning "Klansman, I greet you!

Alien: A person who does not belong to the Klan.

Characteristics The ku klux klan members are known for their distinguished white costumes. In addition to this there are members who wear green robes that indicates they are state leaders. The members who have a sort of security position wear black robes.

Another thing they are known for is cross burning. This ritual started when the founder of the second klan William J. Simmons introduced this to his klan in 1915. They burn crosses for different reason in different places, one of these reasons is to honor saints.

Membership To become a member of the KKK you have to go through a long process of answering questions about yourself and what your intentions are. If they approve your request then you become an official member. When you're a member there are several sites for to communicate with each other on and to share your thoughts on.

The children of these member are raised to believe strongly in what the kkk stands for. From a very young age they are trained to know all the klan glossary and the different rituals. The members do this so the ku klux klan can continue even with a totally new generation. They are basically making sure the kkk lives on forever.

In this article we are going to talk about different movies and you are going to get our opinion about them. There are 3 movies and we will rank them from 1 to 6.

The movie is about a girl named Moana. She is going to be the leader of her tribe. There is only on problem she can't stop returning to the water, which her father has forbidden her to.

Despite this she starts a journey to save her tribe from an evil force that de- stroys everything in its path. On the journey she meets the powerful half God Maui and together they succeed with their mission.

Elina: I just love this movie. The way that they present other cultures and the story is amazing. The songs are so sweet and you can't stop listening to them. I also really like that the main character is a strong and independent woman.

Sunniva: This is maybe one of my favorite Disney movies of all time! The lovely story in this movie shows us other cultures and I especially like that the hero is a girl. It's a colorful movie with a lot of catchy songs. I enjoyed this movie a lot and I would definitely recommend it.

Finding dory is a sequel of the movie finding Nemo. Dory is a friendly, blue tang fish. She has a short term memory which makes her forget everything. All her life she has been living alone, not knowing who or where her family is, until one day. When she suddenly remembers a short glimpse of where she comes from, she sets out on a expedition with her friends Nemo and Marlin to find her parents. To- gether we follow them on their wonderful journey through the sea.

Sunniva: Finding dory is a very exciting movie, filled with both humor and tears. I loved Ellen DeGeneres as Dorys voice. The movie's not just fun, but it also brings up important themes like littering. I also liked the fact that one of the people in the movie are a lesbian couple. This movie was just great!

Elina: Finding Dory is a sweet and a good sequel from Finding Nemo. I think the story is touching, specially the fact that they never give up on Dory. In fact I think this story is touching for a lot of people and that it's not pointed in the direction for any age class. Both parents and children can see it and it's still interesting for both parts.

Lion is a Australian - American and British movie from 2016. The movie is based on the documentary book " A long way home " by Saroo Brierley. The plot in the movie is about the five year old Indian boy named Saroo, who gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, 1500 miles away from home. He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia. 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family with help of Google earth.

Hannah: Lion was a very good and gripping movie, the story was sad but it also made me happy. One reason why I liked the movie was because it was based on a true story and sort of make the movie much exiting and real. Lion is a movie I really recommend.

Elina: This movie is a beautiful story about a boy who gets lost from his mother and brother and how he gets adopted by a loving couple. 20 years later he wants to find them again. It's a heartbreaking movie and the fact that it's based on real- ity makes it much more real. I think that the movie was slow at some points, but after all Lion was a good movie.

SpaceX

SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk, with big ambitions. He wanted to revolutionise the space industry and do things that other people would think is impossible, and he sure has done that. Now the company has grown big with over 4000 employees and three vehicles. SpaceX has been near bankruptcy many times but Elon has put many million of dollars into the company. He has become very rich after founding SpaceX and his other businesses, such as Tesla and PayPal. Their goal is to col- onise the moon and travel to mars.

SpaceX has got many different launch facilities all around the world, though most of them are located in Texas, California and Florida. In April 2016 SpaceX was the first to land a rocket on a floating platform. This took a long time with many fails and errors, but they have now showed that they could land on nearly anything.

Space x has different vehicles for different purposes. But the most famous and reusable rocket vehicle they have is the falcon 9 rocket. It is very famous because it can land after being used. You probably have seen a few videos of it being landed remotely, like a 250 million dollar drone with 62 million dollar cost per launch. But the falcon 9 is not the only vehicle they have. The falcon heavy consists of two falcon 9 rockets emerged plus a more powerful mid to form a more powerful combination. The falcon heavy is actually the most powerful rocket on earth at this time. All the SpaceX vehicles can be combined and that is what makes them so special. The dragon is the last and most special vehicle because it can actually deliver cargo to the space station and deliver back cargo to earth. This has only been achieved before by governmental enterprises till 2012 when the dragon made SpaceX well known. The dragon is expected to have its first manned test flight in 2018.

SpaceX has been approved to fly two people or more around the moon late next year. They have al- ready paid a significant deposit to do a moon mission. Like the Apollo astronauts before them. The Apollo astronauts were the First people on the moon, and they where carrying the hopes and dreams of all humankind. SpaceX want the people that are going on the spaceship to bring the hopes and dreams of all humankind, back to earth again, like the Apollo astronauts. The people that are going on the moon trip will be fitness tested and they need to have a good health. They will be beginning initial training later this year.

The Long Trip African Americans were forced into ships. The ride could take 2-3 months, men and women were sep- arated. Men where hold in the lower belly of the ship and the roof was about 4 feet high so the couldn't stand. They had to stay like this for almost the hole trip. They were hundreds of people in the same room, it was hot and people was dying around you.

Sold They put up ads in the local newspapers about sell- ing of African Americans for slaves. They had auc- tions where men would come and bid for a slave. After they were bought the man who owned them took them to the place we're they was going to work. The owners had beautiful houses but the slaves had to stay outside.

Working conditions They we're working in horrible conditions as they were watched by a overseers. They worked from the sun came up until the sun goes down and the weather didn't matter they had to work anyway. They had to carry heavy sacks of cotton, which was what they picked. If they didn't do the work right or they were late to work their Master would whipped them. The women were put to work inside the homes to take care of the Masters children.

Escaping Many slaves tried to run away because they heard that in the North it was free. Many tried to run away with their family, but that was very difficult. If some of the slaves run away the Master would put up ads in the local newspapers, so they could be returned to the right owner. THE NORTHMEN

In the lands north of the modern day United States, the Northman, Leif Erikson discovered what is today the home of the most powerful country in the world, America.

The Legend Himself In the year 973, on the remote of island of Iceland, the legendary Viking Leif Erikson was born into the world. His father, Erik the Red, was another famous warrior among the Viking clans. But as he is not as important as his son, we shall not discuss him here. Erikson's last breath was taken on the land of Greenland (which was one his favorite places) in the year 1020. He died a Christian, not a true Viking.

The Voyage Erikson started his voyage in south-western Greenland. Originally he wished to take his father, Erik the Red, with him. But on the way to the ship, his father's horse tripped and Erik was injured in the fall. He took it as a sign that he should not sail with his son. Several sources state that Erikson and his crew sailed from Greenland to Baffin Island, north of modern day Canada. When he landed there, he saw that there were many icebergs and flagstones, so he named it Helleland. Afterwards he sailed southwards to what is today called the Labrador Sea. From there he landed on Newfoundland. Which was a part of mainland Canada. He later sailed to the island south of Newfoundland, which he called Vinland. The exact meaning of the name hasn't been established yet. Several different translations have been proposed, but only two will be mentioned here. It could mean "Land of Vines", as it was loaded with grapevines. It could have also meant "Land of Meadows". This name was proposed because there is a large discussion wether it's "Vínland" with a long vowel or "Vinland" with a short one. This may not seem significant, but in Old Norse, it changes the entire meaning of the word. The word vin in Old Norse means "meadow", hence the name "Land of Meadows". Whilst vín would mean wine. He settled there for a period between winter and summer. Unlike Christopher Columbus, who colonized it and planted permanent settlements.

Further Discussion and the Two Sagas There are two sagas which are the main sources regarding Leif Erikson's tale. They both originate from Iceland. The first one is named Saga of Erik the Red, and it is the least used out of the two. This is due to the fact that some information (such as Erikson's route from Greenland to America) contradict the other saga, which most people trust more. As mentioned before, the second saga is more used and more trusted than the first. But before we go further, the name of it has to be mentioned, it's called Saga of the Greenlanders, even though it originated on Iceland. This saga was the one primarily used to construct this text, as most sources out there in the vast world use it too. It states that Erikson sailed from Greenland to Baffin Island and then to Newfoundland, which we discussed before. While the Saga of Erik the Red says that he sailed from Norway straight to Vinland and onward.

Before reading this article, you may have thought that it was Christopher Columbus that discovered America, and if you didn't I congratulate you. After reading it you most likely believe that Leif Erikson discovered America first, but this is not entirely true. He was the first European to discover America yes, but not the first person. That honor goes to whoever lead the first tribe of Native Americans to cross from Siberia into Alaska.

Dodge history Dodge is an American brand of cars, minivans, and sport utility vehicles manufactured by FCA US LLC (formerly known as Chrysler Group LLC). The company makes a lot of pickups. In 2005 was 70% of the pickups in USA was Dodges. Dodge is a big company when it comes to pickups, but they also have a lot of family cars and also some sport cars like Dodge Viper.

The first generation of The Viper The Dodge Viper is a sport car manufactured by Dodge. It came in four generations. The first one came out in 1992. It was a pace car. The car was designed by Tom Gale. The prototype was tested in 1989, but the first production was in 1991. The engine was a V10. The Lamborghini company, then owned by Chrysler Corporation, designed the V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in an aluminum alloy, and was based on the Chrysler LA V8 engine. The engine weights 323 kg. It has a power on 400 horsepower. That's a lot. The Dodge Viper first generation has a top speed This is the Dodge Viper's on 264 km/h. It drives a English mile(402 meters) on 12,6 seconds. V10 engine.

The car was made out of fiberglass with a steel frame. It has a weight on 1488 kilograms.The other generation just made the car better and better. In the first generation it was not so good breaks. But in the second generation it was made with one of the best racing breaks in the world. And in the later generations it just got better. It got a bigger engine and a lighter weight. This car is popular because of it's engine.

The Ram pickup The Ram pickup, formerly the Dodge Ram pickup, is a big, full size pickup truck. It is a typical American car. The Ram is a very big pickup truck with an enormous engine. It is a man's dream car. The Rams engine in the first generation was on 95 hp. In 2004 they made a car with 510 hp! That is a lot! In these days they are made with engine's on 325 hp. The Ram is produced in 5 generations. In 2010 the Dodge Ram was "sold" too the Ram trucks h started to produce the cars. A lot of the owners of the new Ram's actually puts the Dodge logo on the car. The Cadillac's first cars, the Runabout and Tonneau, were completed in October 1902. They were two-seat horseless carriages powered by a 10 hp single-cylinder engine.

From its earliest years, Cadillac aimed for precision engineering and stylish luxury finishes, causing its cars to be ranked amongst the finest in the United States.

By Gustas Hollywood is in The USA. Hollywood is an ethnically diverse, densely populated neighbourhood in the central region of Los Angels, California.

It is notable as the home of the U.S. film industry, including several of its historic studios, and its name has come to be a shorthand reference for the industry and the people in it.

Hollywood was a small community in 1870 and was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. [3][4] It was consolidated with the city of Los Angeles in 1910, and soon thereafter a prominent film industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognizable film industry in the world.

Texas

By Jesper Texas is a State in the USA. Texas is the second biggest state in the USA after Alaska. There is about 27 million people living there. Texas is bigger then Germany, England, Ireland , Nederland’s, and Belgium combined! The landscape is very nice but it can be dangerous because you can die of the Natural disasters especially in the deserts. In 1900 they found oil, after this Texas has been one of the most richest states in the USA.

It is said that there lives around 1 million illegal people in Texas. The population consists of 40% white, 12% black and around 48% are Mexican. The biggest cities are Houston (around 2,3 million) and San Antonio (around 1,47 million). Around 30% of the land is is farmland.

History

In 1686 Texas was owned by the Spanish but it became a state of Mexico in 1827

Snakes

Snakes are a common thing to see in Texas. Each year around 7000 people are bitten by venomous snakes. The snakes are so venomous if you get bitten you have to get to the hospital as soon as possible because you only have a few minutes to live. Of those who are bitten around 14 people die a year. But it is very sad for those who die and their families.

If you see a snake stay away, Snakes don’t really care about us humans they usually go for smaller pray (Depending on the snake specie). So remember if you stay away from a snake and don’t disturb it, it wont disturb you. There are actually a few laws on snakes and if you hurt one you can get in trouble.

The big city - Houston Texas

Houston has around 2,3 million people living there. Houston is Americas oil city. Statoil has a large office there as well. The city is also a good friend with Stavanger. Fun facts about fast food chains
