CALL ON ME Seniors ANDREW VINSON and TY SCHLOTTMANN are maintaining a good chance of joining the slim list of Aggie pitchers to appear in 100 or more games in their career. The list currently includes only two pitchers with Kyle Thebeau owning the school record with 103 appearances followed by Estevan Uriegas (2009-12) with 100. Vinson enters the weekend ranked fourth on Texas A&M’s career list with 88 appearances. With 11 more games, “Vinny” will pass Kyle Martin (98 - 2010-13) on the career list. He currently ranks sixth among active Divi- sion I pitchers in appearances. Schlottmann has 67 games, ranking 13th on the career list. He will crack the top 10 with three more games. TURNER BASEBALL TURNER LARKINS has the distinction of being selected in the 2014 MLB First-Year Player Draft one spot before Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. The Milwaukee Brewers selected Larkins out of Arlington Martin High School in the 28th round with the 836th overall pick. The San Diego Padres followed by drafting Manziel with the 837th pick.
