Each official will administer penalties for on water rule infractions. The Contender Series will feature mystery destinations, no practice periods and follow other format procedures of the Elite Fishing League Tour but at a lower cost to more anglers. 40 anglers are divided into 4 groups of 10. Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D. Each group will fish a qualifying round. The top 2 finishers from each qualifying round advance to the Contender Championship (8). 3rd - 6th place from each qualifying round (16) make up 2 groups of 8. Each group advances to 1 of 2 elimination rounds. Winner from each elimination round (2) will advance to the Contender Championship. Angler with the heaviest total weight at the end of a round wins the round. All rounds are 1 day competitions. Make the championship, cut a check, GUARANTEED!
