Revised Public Holiday Curfews for Oversize Agricultural Vehicles

Easter Curfew:

Change from –

Oversize agricultural vehicles exceeding 4.5 metres in width and/or 30 metres in length must not use any road in WA, from sunset on the Wednesday before Good Friday until sunrise on the Tuesday after Easter Monday.

To –

Oversize agricultural vehicles exceeding 5.5 metres in width and/or 40 metres in length must not travel on any of the following prohibited roads during the following curfew period:

Prohibited Roads: - All roads in the Metropolitan Area - Albany Highway - Brand Highway - Brookton Highway - Bussell Highway - Forrest Highway - Indian Ocean Dr - Muir Hwy - North West Coastal Hwy (Geraldton to Kalbarri Turn-off) - Northampton Kalbarri Rd - South Coast Hwy - South Western Hwy

An Agricultural Combination may travel on the prohibited roads, except roads within the Metropolitan Area, for a maximum distance of 1.0 kilometre, for the purpose of traveling between non-prohibited roads.

Curfew Period:

From sunrise on the Thursday before Good Friday until sunset on the Tuesday after Easter Monday.

Christmas Curfew:

Change from –

Oversize agricultural vehicles between 4.5 – 5.5 metres in width and/or 30 – 40 metres in length must not travel on the following roads between sunset on 23rd December to sunrise on 27th December and between sunset on 30th December to sunrise on 4th January:

- Albany Highway (Bedfordale Road Train Assembly Area, to Albany) - Brand Highway - Eyre Highway - Great Eastern Highway - South Western Highway (Armadale to Bunbury) - Great Northern Highway (Roe Highway to Mt Magnet)

Oversize agricultural vehicles exceeding 5.5 metres in width and/or 40 metres in length must not travel on any road in WA from sunset on 18th December until sunrise on 4th January.

To –

Oversize agricultural vehicles exceeding 5.5 metres in width and/or 40 metres in length must not travel on any of the following prohibited roads during the following curfew periods:

Curfew Periods: (a) From sunrise on the Friday until sunset on the Sunday prior to Christmas Day; and (b) From sunrise on 24th December until sunset on 3rd January.
