 To ensure safe future for young women, West Bengal government has launched a scheme called “Rupashree”."Rupashree" scheme aimed at providing an amount of Rs 25000 marriage assistance to girls coming from economically weaker families whose family income is uoto Rs 1.5 lakh.

 While previous Kanyashree scheme promotes education among women, Rupashree scheme complements it with marriage assistance.
