" Last year we entered the season with a lot of green kids," he stated. "Early in the season we didn't play that well, but later on, our youngsters began to mature." The Eagles produced 11 wins over the last 15 games of 1979, and Hamilton is hopeful that the returning nucleus plus his recruits can pick up from there.
