Asian Town organises weekend festival at Plaza Mall

Asian Town celebrated Weekend Festival at Plaza Mall with live music show and many interactive games. The festival was organised by Ibn Ajayan Projects (IAP), the managers of Asian Town. This is the eighth weekend festival organised by IAP and this week’s ‘Live Music Show’ attracted a big crowd, especially the Asian expatriates. The show was performed by Quebe, a popular Indian music band in Qatar. Main singers in the band are Googly Muthu, Jithu, and Fazil. They performed while Akbar Sha anchored the show on the stage. The live music enjoyed by thousands of people gathered at the event. Some talented singers among the workers’ community also performed on the stage. Started at 5:30pm, the show ended at 8:00pm. Weekend Festival is an initiative from IAP. It was started in January 2017 to entertain the visitors of Asian Town especially those who visits Plaza Mall on the weekends. Entry to the event venue was free for general public. The weekend Festival at Asian Town will continue throughout the year.
