Upcoming Events SOFTBALL/VOLLEYBALL DINNER AUCTION: The annual C of I Softball/Volleyball Dinner 3/7-13 WBB – at NAIA National Tournament Auction is scheduled for this Saturday, March 3, at 6 p.m., inside the J.A. Albertson 3/8-9 TRACK – NNU Multi-Events Activities Center. The major fundraiser for both the softball and volleyball teams, tickets 3/9 SOFT – vs. British Columbia (DH) 2 p.m. are $25 per person, which includes dinner, along with a truffle raffle, dessert auction, 3/10 TENNIS – vs. Alumni All day SOFT – vs. British Columbia (DH) Noon silent auction, and live auction. COYOTE BOLO BALL: The C of I track and cross country teams will be hosting the Coyote Bolo Ball – a night of dinner, dancing, and live music, as their spring fundraiser.   • Calling All Alumni Pilots Land Four on NAIA World Series All-Tournament
    Calling All Alumni DECEMBER 04, 2003 The 2003-2004 LSUS baseball teams is inviting all alumni to attend the first anual Pilot Baseball Alumni Weekend. Friday, February 6 a 7 innning baseball game will be played at Pilot Field beginning at 6:30. The Alunmni team will be coached by LSUS Athletic Director and first ever LSUS baseball head coach, Doug Robinson. Food and refreshments will be provided for those who attend. Saturday, February 8, the LSUS Pilots and Lady Pilots basketball teams will be at home in conference action versus the University of Mobile. We will be hosting a tailgate party in support for our basketball teams which will begin at 2:30 outside of the Health and Physical Education building. All those alumni who attend are encouraged to stay for both games Saturday as the LSUS Athletics Department will be paying tribute at halftime of the men's game to the 2003 LSUS Baseball team who finished 3rd at the 2003 NAIA College Baseball World Series. Pilots land four on NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team MAY 31, 2003 Tyson Arishenkoff, shortstop for the LSUS Pilots, won the Gold Glove Award for the 2003 NAIA World Series and, along with three teammates, was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Gold Glove Award goes to the most valuable defensive player in the tournament. Pilots' ace Gene Stevens was the No. 1 pitcher on the All-Tournament Team. His battery mate, catcher Aaron McRae, and outfielder Cole Reynolds were also named to the elite squad. McRae and second baseman Wesley Gray both received honorable mention recognition in NAIA All-American balloting.

    Softball Factory Coaching Staff Coach Experience In her first year at USCB she lead the team in numerous offensive categories including batting average, homeruns, RBI's and runs scored. She received the Sun Conference Player of the Year Award, 1st Team All Conference, NAIA All American, NFCA All American and NFCA 1st Team All Region. CJ finished her playing career at Reinhardt CJ Browder University. Again, CJ led the team in many offensive categories leading them to a Conference Championship and a 3rd place finish at the NAIA World Series. CJ was a 1st Team All Conference recipient, AAC All Tournament Team, and made the World Series Tournament team. She has been working for the Softball Factory for over two years. Danielle began her collegiate softball career at The Community College of Baltimore County-Dundalk. As a freshman she led her team in RBI’s and over all batting average. She was named captain but then transferred her sophomore year to play at Limestone College. Danielle finished her three years playing Division 2 softball with the Danielle Bush Lady Saints and won two Conference Carolina Championships. While playing softball Danielle maintained a 3.52 GPA and was named to the Conference Carolinas All Academic Team. Danielle is the Director of Softball Operations. Katie is a native of Brenham, Texas. At Brenham High School, she was a two-time NFCA first-team All-American, and a member of the 4A state championship team in 2005. Bush graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. As a Lady Cougar, Bush started all four years in centerfield.
